Love is one of the most important emotions any human can experience at any time during their lives, whether it be when they are young and inexperienced, or when they are older and more experienced. Love is the most important emotion I have. To me, love is irreplaceable, and it always has been. Love is something so abstract, and that allows it to be romantic, platonic, or even neither. It can just be an emotion felt toward something that cannot metaphorically reciprocate love. However, no matter which category love is put into, it is something that can never die. Love always stays buried in someone’s heart, whether it is just beneath the surface, anxious to overflow, or whether it is hidden deep inside of someone, not yet ready to come alive. …show more content…
If not reciprocated, it will flow back, and soften and purify the heart.” This quote was said by Washington Irving. As most others, I’ve experienced rejection when it came to love. In fact, I don’t think that true love can even exist without a little rejection to accompany it. However, the strength in someone’s heart is only shown when they make the choice of keeping that love, or losing it. I have never lost it, and I continue to gain more of it with every new acceptance I receive from people who actually do reciprocate my love. One-sided love, whether romantic or platonic, doesn’t put me down. Consequently, it inspires me to find a love that can be reciprocated. I wasn’t always like this, but I changed when I realized that there is really nothing to be done. Not everyone in the world will love you, and you don’t have to love everyone in the world to live a life full of happiness and amazing things. After realizing this, life suddenly became so much easier, because I knew that there are more unique forms of love to be found in the world. Personally, my heart is so full of love for everything and everyone that it is never really lost. I get made fun of a lot because I love so many things, but I think that it’s better to love everything than to be devoid of love. Also, I’ve noticed that since I love so many things, when one of them comes to an end, I am not left empty and lost without it, because I have others to fall back on. However, I don’t think it’s …show more content…
I believe that love can never truly die, or be lost. Love can be shaped into anything, because it is so abstract, and that makes it a force to be reckoned with. Every single person in the world has a bit of love hidden in their hearts, and it is up to them whether they choose to show it or not, which gives every single person in the world the power that love brings with it. To me, love is the most important feeling that can be experienced, and I know that the love I have in my heart for so many things in this world will never stop burning, like a flame that can never be put

They say if you love something, let it go. Yeah, I had a hard time believing those few words, for almost five years now.I met the first guy I fell in love with and whom I believed I was destined to spend my whole life with. I remember reading a quote or something like that by Plato, saying, “According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate parts, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves.” And I had sworn that I was sure he was my other half, that it was meant to be. Sucks though, when reality hits
Much of my life, love has been defined by an unexplainable and uncontrollable feeling that burns inside your soul. One that when you look at a person you will just know and the rest will be history. This definition of love I grew up love was also demanding, controlling, dependent, and selfish. But still it was something to be desired and something everyone couldn’t wait to feel. To love
Currently, in my 6th stage-intimacy vs. isolation, I have looked for love in all the wrong places as I try to find a connection. I have sought solace in therapy, positive thinking, self-help books hoping one will free me from my emptiness. I think I found solace in my child who teaches me to love and make sacrifices each and every day. I am slowly learning to believe in my capacity for love but I am forever scarred by the invisible wound of a lost childhood and abandonment by my
Love is said to be one of the most desired things in life. People long for it, search for it, and crave it. It can come in the form of partners, friends, or just simply family. To some, love is something of a necessity in life, where some would rather turn a cold shoulder to it. Love can be the mixture of passion, need, lust, loyalty, and blood. Love can be extraordinary and breathtaking. Love being held so high can also be dangerous. Love can drive people to numerous mad things with it dangerously so full of craze and passion.
Love is arguably the most powerful emotion possessed by mankind; it is the impalpable bond that allows individuals to connect and understand one another. Pure love is directly related to divinity. Without love, happiness and prosperity become unreachable goals. An individual that possesses all the desired superficial objects in the world stands alone without the presence of love. For centuries love has been marveled by all that dare encounter it. Countless books and poems have been transcribed to explain the phenomenon of love, but love surpasses all intellectual explanations and discussions. Love is not a definition, but rather a thought, an idea. This idea, the idea of love, burns inside us all. Instinctually, every soul on Earth is
The word love is usually misused or misinterpreted. There are numerous meanings and definitions to this overly used word. Not many of them make much sense to me. Love is a feeling of complete bliss. Love is something that can’t be touched or bought, but is something that is much better than money and earthly objects. I can stay here and describe love all day long and still have so much more to say about this word days later. Love isn’t a word that should be used lightly, but usually is. I believe that love is the most commonly used, but most understood word ever known
Love is affection, devotion, passion, desire, warmth, respect or loyalty. You choose. It doesn't really matter which one because they are all forms of love. Some are powerful and demand attention while others are more subtle and just below the surface. In recent years, love has drifted from these subtle levels to the more noticeable ones, namely passion. In my opinion, our society downplays the real necessity for genuine affection. By this I mean that we, as a society, spend so much time focusing on only one level of love (passion) that we tend to neglect and not recognize the need for closeness and trust (friendship). Love is an all-encompassing emotion that can be powerful and demanding, but also rewarding and pleasurable.
Love is not usually well defined. People often think that they are in love, but they cant explain it. There is a great dealing of confusion of the words love, and infatuation. Love may include romance, infatuation, affection and tenderness. But it could be love if one or more of the elements are not present. The definition of love varies from person to person. Love is essential element for all relationships. Much of what is written about love is either brief or mocking. Society in general is very cruel and heartless toward real love of any kind. Modern writing mocks marriages, husbands and wives, but condones adultery, and other obscene values. Real love is a mystery to most people. Most people never realize the true potential or value of love, nor do they learn to practice the art of love.
As a child I was taught in many different ways what love actually is. With that being said love can be towards a person, an object, or even confused with other things. When I say that love can
“Love is universally accepted by many people and the concept of love within the English language refers to a variety of different approaches, states and attitudes, ranging from pleasure to interpersonal attraction.” (Kendrick 123) My characterization of love encourages the intimate emotion I partake for my family. The distinct connection that we fashioned and the invaluable moments that we consolidated. In the perceptive of a mother, my children are my supremacy and the greatest blessing of my lifecycle. They’re my inspiration and motivation to continue progressing and becoming the best at what I do. With that in mind, Love relics your outlooks and approaches the linkage they become associated with. Consequently, this condition can fluctuate over a period of a specific time. Additionally, depending on your situation, your perspective on love can be an altering affect, creating a stable or inconsistent assessment. Furthermore, causing your love to intensify, decline, or even cease. Love in its essence, stands justly powerful and the beauty of it advances,
Love is the most important aspect of human life as we know it. The reasons are because it is one of the only things that can not be bought with any amount of money so it makes it a very scarce resource. If love would have a price tag it would be for an infinite amount of dollars, pounds, or even pesos. Some people live their whole life looking for a " true love" some are lucky and find it. Some live their life la vida loca and have never found the time to find a true love. Others get tired of waiting and get married without love. Love has not changed at all over the course of history and this makes it the most important emotion in the human mind, body and soul.
Love is one of those things that means different things to different people. If you would look the word love up in the dictionary, you would find this: “an intense feeling of deep affection.” For some people, love can be purely romantic or even just purely sexual. For others, real love can only exist between family members or between people and a god. For some people, it is felt for your partners, family, pets, or even inanimate objects. None of the people are right or wrong, but I do know one thing, love is very powerful. Love is overused in today's world, people say they love someone because of the way they look or their body. That isn't love. To me, love is the most spectacular, indescribable, deep euphoric

Without this preconceived idea of love, people would be acting like a blind person searching for the light with thousand of obstacles in front of him.
