Introduction The Lion King is a 1994 American animated musical adventure film directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff and written by Irene Mecchi , Jonathan Roberts and Linda Woolverton. “The Lion King” movie is influenced from the Shakespeare's play Hamlet. MAIN CHARACTERS • Mufasa: He is the father of Simba and King of Pride Land. • Simba: Son of Mufasa and future king of Pride Lands. • Scar: Younger Brother of Mufasa and uncle of Simba The story starts with the birth of Simba, a young lion who is to succeed his father, Mufasa, as king. After Simba's uncle Scar murders Mufasa, Simba is fooled into thinking he was responsible and flees into exile in shame and despair. Upon maturation living with two wastrels, Simba is given some valuable perspective from his friend, Nala, and his shaman, Rafiki, before returning to challenge Scar to end his tyranny. SUMMARY (Introduction) Simba is born. His father, Mufasa shows Simba the Kingdom and explains each and every thing. (Rising action) Scar, Simba’s uncle is jealous of the young prince. He set up a plan with the help of hyenas to get Simba and Mufasa killed in a stampede, so that he gets to become the king of pride lands. Mufasa dies in but Simba Survives. Scar then convinces Simba to believe that it’s his own fault that his father was killed. Simba runs away and meets Timon and Pumba (supporting characters).They teach him the “Hakuna Matata” lifestyle. And emergence of evilness takes birth under Scar rule. (Climax) During Simba’s days with Timon and Pumba, One day Nala Simba’s childhood friend finds him and encourages him to go back and claim the Kingdom from brutal Scar. He is a democratic leader and takes advice of his fellow animals very seriously and instills trust in them to help him protect The Pride Lands and his son from any possible danger. Mulan is found vulnerable during this time, but she prevails and finds her inner warrior. The road of trials makes her become determined to fight to save her homeland. Moreover, Mulan goes through the stage of meeting her soul mate, Li-shang, when he discovers that his father is dead. Mulan’s feelings for Li-Shang encourage her to move forward in her journey. It makes Mulan fight even harder to get rid of her enemies. Additionally, Mulan enters a god-like state. This occurs in Mulan when the Emperor and the entire citizens of the country bow to Mulan. This upsets the Hyenas. They leave Scar to fight Simba by himself. Simba wins the fight and throws Scar off a cliff, into the herd of the Hyenas. The hyenas show no remorse for Scar and they trample over him, killing him. Once Simba takes back the throne, the whole kingdom becomes beautiful again and everyone is happy.
I chose to view the movie Lion, a movie based on the book A Long Way Home by Saroo Brierley. This movie is about a five-year-old boy, Saroo, living in a poor, rural area in India. Saroo convinces his older brother Guddu, to let him tag along and find work in a nearby city. Saroo ends up trapped and alone in a decommissioned passenger train that takes him to Calcutta, over 1,000 miles away from his home.

Mulan tells that the story of brave Mulan. Mulan did not want her elderly father to fight in the war, so she disguised as a man and joined in her father 's army. Finally, Mulan defeated the Huns and Shan Yu (leader of the Huns) with her partners in barracks. This Disney film portrays the conflict perspective, feminism, and symbolic interaction perspective.
In once of his many escapades his evil uncle Scar is teaching him how to growl which results in a stampede of wildebeest to come towards him. Mufasa, who is Simba’s father, in an attempt to save him dies by the hands of his older, jealous, brother. Scar pushes Mufasa off the cliff into the stampede. When Simba discovers his dead father he flees, feeling responsible for the death of his father, and Scar becomes the new ‘king’ of the jungle. Simba is raised by two strangers he meets in the desert and after some time passes he discovers that his uncle is the reason his father is dead and that he has taken control of the prairie. After being conflicted by his emotions and meeting an apparition of his father he finally decides to confront his uncle and take back the kingdom. The film ends with scar, the uncle, being eaten alive by his minions and he is the cause of his own demise. Simba restores balance to the ecosystem and all is well, which is a beautiful ending to a Disney film.
The Lion King is a movie created by Disney and was released in the summer of 1994. It is about a pride of lions that uphold the cycle of nature, or as they call it “the circle of life” (The Lion King, 1994). The lion pride is considered royalty within the “Pride Lands” and are just and fair when it comes to hunting only what they need. A young prince named Simba is introduced and he is next in line to be the future king. However, Simba’s uncle Scar had other plans. He believed that it was his right all along to be named future king and wanted all of the glory to himself. Eventually, Scar comes up with an elaborate plan to rid the Pride Lands of Simba and the current King, Mufasa and take the throne for himself.
By coming back Simba saves the animals, this shows his loyalty. Simba displays honestly when he tell everyone from the land that he murdered his own father because scar made him believe that he did it.
