There are two ways to live your adult life straight after high school: working towards receiving your college degree or going into the work field. What is the difference between the two, and which choice do I think is more of a logical choice? I think working towards receiving your college degree holds more of a value in life than going into the work field. Here are some reasons and examples why I think working towards your college degree is more important when you are growing up. Receiving your college degree is not a necessity nor should everybody have one, but on the other hand a college degree can be very beneficial in the long run. A college degree does not guarantee a job right away, but it does guarantee a better future. He has been attending college since he was seventeen and graduated from high school. Braxton is a very kind, great role model, and is only twenty-six years old. As of now, he is still attending school, but will be guaranteed a career when he is all sudden done with his degrees for his masters in business and in law. This goes to show why getting your college degree holds more value than wasting fifteen years of your life just to be able to support your loved ones. Another example that I have for why getting your college degree is very important is about me. Growing up I never have liked school, enjoyed reading books, or waking up early. Once I got into high school it was all still the same and nothing had ever changed my mind. Until, I graduated my brother Braxton called me one day and talked to me about my future. This phone call had changed my whole mind set on life, and in a way was a big wake up call for me. I never believed in myself that I was able to do it, never thought I was smart enough, or capable to be just like my big brother
