INTRODUCTION:
This case involves the suspect being cited and released in the field for trespassing in violation of PC 602(o)-Trespassing and PC 647(e)-Illegal Lodging. The suspect was also found in possession of a controlled substance in violation of H&S 11377(a).
LOCATION DESCRIPTION:
This incident occurred on the west hill along State Street just west of the Pasadena Power Plant (City Property).
EVIDENCE:
• Plastic bindle containing a white crystal substance inside, which resembled Crystal methamphetamine.
INVESTIGATION:

I saw the above individuals standing and sitting outside of a tent. The tent was located on the southeast side of the hill on City Property.
I immediately recognized the above individuals from prior police contacts, where they were found trespassing on City Property. During the prior police contacts, they were all advised and cited for trespassing on City Property.
I ordered the above individuals away from the tent. They complied with my orders without incident. South Pasadena PD Sergeant Robledo #180 and South Pasadena Officer Burgos #203 arrived on scene and assisted me.
I arrested the above individuals for PC 602(o)-Trespassing and PC 647(e)-Illegal lodging. The above individuals admitted to having property at the above location which belonged to them.
Incident to arrest, SPPD Officer Burgos searched Megowan and found a plastic bindle in his right front pants coin pocket. I opened the plastic bindle which contained a crystal substance. Based on my training and experience, I recognized the substance to be crystal

On 5/6/18, at approximately 0709 hours, I responded to the area of Colorado Blvd. and St. John Avenue regarding an investigation of a subject who jumped from the Colorado Blvd. overpass. Pasadena Police Dispatch advised the victim was F/B wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans and the RP could see her down on the freeway under the Colorado Blvd. overpass.
Once the motel manager confirmed that a Summer Twilligear had rented room 114, Deputy Shanks, Sergeant Walls, Deputy Galloway, Deputy Phifer, and Deputy Timms went to the hotel to see whether this “Gunner Crapser” was the wanted man, and to attempt a “knock and talk” as a way to gain consent to search the room and look for signs of methamphetamine activity (FindLaw, 2007, Factual and Procedural Background section, para. 4). All of the officers were in uniform with their guns visible besides Deputy Timms who was in plain clothes with a concealed weapon.
On Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at approximately 1956 hours, Officer Reinbold #7400 and I (Officer Guerrero #3310) were dispatched to 1113 Marengo Avenue, in regard to a vandalism that just occurred. Dispatch advised the victim (later identified as Kristyn Cota) saw two male juveniles spray painting her fence. Cota advised dispatch she was following both subjects and they were last seen running southbound on Marengo Avenue, from Hammond Street. On 01-01-17 at 0023 hours I was monitoring the radio and heard that Officer Harrell #3441 and Officer Thebeau #8402 were involved in a vehicle pursuit in the area of Fair Oaks Avenue and Corson Street. I responded to the above location to assist. They advised responding units that the suspect was involved in a traffic collision on the eastbound 210 Freeway Fair Oaks Avenue off-ramp.
The incident occurred at the Pasadena Ice Skating Center located at 300 E. Green Avenue.
Police reported to a robbery in progress and found a Jeep backed up to the door of the restaurant upon arriving. Two suspects were walking out with handfuls of stolen merchandise. The robbers, a man and a woman, were arrested at the scene. These robbers were 23-year-olds, married couple Erika and Benjamin Sifrit.
At approximately 1724 hours on February 1, 2016, I, Cpl. Lessane, along with Deputy Eubanks, responded to 701 Boles Road, in the Cummings area of Hampton County, to meet with Florena Johnson, regarding an incident that occurred on a School bus with her daughter. During the disturbance on the School bus, a juvenile was threatened and felt fearful for her safety by three other subjects.
