When we were told that we were going to have to participate in Junior Achievement I didn’t know what to expect even though I did have Junior Achievement while I was in grammar school. I didn’t know what to expect being on the other side of it actually teaching the students and not being the student since I’m use to always being the student and not the teacher because that’s basically what we were told that we were going to be teacher for the day. My group was told that we were going to have 7th graders and that kind of made me nervous because in 7th have their own opinions already and sometimes an attitude and I just thought they might not be a fan of my group or of the junior achievement program so I was kind of wishing I had a younger grade. I’m also a shy person so I was nervous going into and knowing I would have to be speaking to 28 7th graders and their teacher who does this for a living. …show more content…

The 7th grade class was awesome and totally exceeded my expectations. They were social, well behaved, participated, and were genuinely interested in what we had to say and interested in us and what we had planned for our own future. I have to say that this wasn’t what I was expecting at all. This was a great experience and I’m so happy that we had to participate in this program because I learned so much about the students and what they wanted to do in their future from where they want to attend high school, college, and what they want their future career to be and I hope they all come true for them. I hope they learned so things from my group too that will help them with their future
