I have made many achievements in my life. I am happy to be such an achiever at things. I remember my first achievement which was in kindergarten. In kindergarten I got on the honor roll for the first time. I was so happy, but I was just happy because my mom was happy. I didn’t even know what honor roll meant, but I finally founded out that is meant that I got all A’s. My mom was so happy for me, and I got lot of money for my A’s. After that my next achievement was that I learn how to ride a bike. When I first started to ride a bike with no training wheels I kept on falling. After I kept falling I didn’t want to learn anymore, but I saw that my little cousin was riding a bike, so I just had to learn how to ride a bike. Finally, after all the sores and burses, I learned how to ride a bike. I still fall every now and then. Well, as I began to get older I started to achieve more and more. When was 8 I started washing dish. That was a great achievement to me back then, but now I regret it. Now my mother makes me wash dish all the time. When I go to other people house they want me to wash their dishes. Now I hate washing dish. After learning how to wash …show more content…
In 7th grade I had to get up in front of my class to get, and present a commercial. I was so scared at first because I am a very shy person. It is not easy for me to speak in front a lot of people. As I waited for my turn I felt like I was going to cry. It felt like my stomach was in my throat. In the end I was scared for nothing because when I went up and did really good. The teacher complimented me on my work. After that day I was so proud of myself for conquering my fear. In 8th grade I finally got on the honor roll, again. I was so happy to be on the honor roll, because I hadn’t been on the honor roll in a really long time. seeing all those A’s made me so happy. I felt the same excitement as I felt in kindergarten when I first gotten on the honor
My most significant accomplishment would be placing second in the United States of America National FFA Agriscience Fair. Building up to this accomplishment was a challenge I never imagined to take on. It began with my FFA Chapter Agriscience Fair. I had decided against competing, but my adviser suggested I try. Pulling together a project, I placed second. This meant I would not compete at the state level. My adviser urged me to perform another project, under a new category, promising to take me to state. I worked hard and created a project in a week. Surprised, but true to his word, my adviser entered me into the State FFA Agriscience Fair. Upon my interview, I was nervous. I was shy and out of my comfort zone, but I gave my best effort. I
To most of us, they say they can spot success at first glance. Generally by the car one drives or how one is dressed. Some might see it by how healthy or how happy one feels. Merriam Webster's Dictionary states that success is “the fact of getting wealth, respect, or fame.” If one where to adopt this definition of success, one might go on to living a life of materialism. This mindset is deceitful and will only reward you with short term happiness, like a drug addict searching for a quick fix. For one to be ultimately successful, one must be able to overcome hardships and possess qualities like integrity, pride and patience which no amount of money in the world could buy. These qualities will make anyone strive in most, if not all the difficult obstacles one must face in life.
I am a sophomore in highschool and I’m 15 years old. I play Volleyball and Basketball. I have accomplished a lot in my lifetime thus far. But I’m most proud of what I’ve done in volleyball, basketball and school. I’m gonna tell you my main focuses on these topics and a little bit about them.
I work to maintain a balanced lifestyle: excelling academically, while allocating time for extra-curricular activities, volunteer work, a part-time job, family, and friends. I am the type of person who thrives under pressure and challenges. I enjoy having responsibility; I take charge and I am exemplary at it. I am a conscientious achiever and with well-rounded talents, I find myself continuously involved with everything that I am able. For the same reason, I bring it upon myself to take on roles of responsibility and leadership. Helping others is often a rewarding experience and I believe it is important to find the drive to inaugurate change. Similarly, leadership in athletics is vital to a team’s success; it is necessary to have a player
From the time I was a young child, I have always known I was different from others. Although I didn't realize I was in any way "smart" until around the fourth grade, I had been skipped up to the first grade from kindergarten. While friends struggled with homework assignments, finishing them came easily to me, like riding a bike. Supposedly - I've never ridden a bike.
Lets start out by stating the obvious, success is something that is rewarded to you when you achieve and accomplish a task, easy or hard. Many people have many takes on success and what is the correct success, but I’m here to tell you that success occurs in our everyday lives. For example, you may not realize how successful it is to finally beat someone in a sport or online game that you have had many unsuccessful attempts at. But ask yourself this question, “do you know someone that is a superstar with boat loads of money and fame? Is he or she confident, popular, and happy all the time-the mainstream version of success? Or, on the other hand, is he or she stressed working hard to make ends meet, while enjoying life without paparazzi in their face. As you read through this paper, you will realize that fast cars, G4 private planes, and eloquent Hollywood parties do not entirely derive success. Success is a result of doing the right things consistently and joyfully.
come to one 's mind. All I thought as a little girl was what to play with next. Of course school
I have a broad range of accomplishments. Most of my accomplishments have been in several subjects such as mathematics, science, and even tennis. I credit my achievements to my own perseverance and growth, my mother’s support, and my teachers throughout school. Success can be defined in several ways but personally, I consider being successful as working hard in a field that creates passion, fulfils your desires, and ultimate becoming a better version of yourself through achieving personally goals. Often people deem success from your net worth, such as how much money you have in the bank, the quality of material items possessed, and your overall richness. My idea of success is being rich in knowledge, passion, love, having complex connection and fulling your ultimate desires while also helping those less fortunate than you. It’s not always about the money but rather doing something you love. Someone that consider to be successful is Victor Hernandez, my dad. Previously Victor was a high school math
Success is defined as the attainment of wealth, position, or honors. It can also mean the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors; the accomplishment of one’s goals. My definition is expressed in a way that makes success not just focused on wealth and being prosperous. Success is not only measured on how much money one makes or what kind of car they drive or how many luxurious things one has in their life. It is also about achieving what one personally wants to achieve in their life. When one sets goals for themselves and they accomplish them, they earn the right to be successful in their life.
Success, is a term with relative meaning depending on what aspect of life it is associated with. I view success in terms of achievements, fulfillment, and accomplishments. I set goals, and I do what it takes to make them happen, by dedicating my time, intelligence, skills to achieve them. I make sure that at the end of the day I can be proud of my work, knowing that I invested myself a hundred percent. Goals are a very important aspect of life, they are like maps that guides you, because if you do not know where you are going, how would you know when you get there. All aspects of my life are intertwine, and accomplishing something in my personal life have repercussion on how I feel in my professional life, and vice versa. I do not measure success on the size of my bank account, the size of my house, or what kind of car I drive, but instead I assess how happy and filled my life is. Filled with family, friends, love, happiness, and that is what I use to determines how successful I feel.
My parents always tell me how proud they are of me and all i’ve accomplished in my life at such a young age. I’ve always been known as the “responsible one”, or the “smart one” out of all my friends. I’ve always been the one to remind my friends about tests or reports that are due, and they always ask what they would do without me.
The day of graduation came and the ceremony was taking place; before diplomas were handed out, awards were given to the students that graduated with honors. My eighth grade year flashed before my yes and I saw the many times I said I couldn 't, and the times I cried but still managed to get honor roll every cycle, so I thought to myself “my name must be in that list.” There in my seat I was hoping to get that crystal clear star with my name on it that said Honor Roll. At twelve years of age graduating from the eighth grade that award was an assurance that I was smart and that I was just as good as everyone else but I had a little extra, and yet again at least that 's what I thought. Name after name was called, my heart was pounding and my hands were sweating eager for my name to be called up to the stage. The last name was called but my name wasn’t, and i didn’t hear my name. I was stunned that I didn 't get any “Honors” at that moment I thought to myself Did I fail this last cycle? Wasn 't I good enough? Did they skip my name? But I looked at the table and not a single star was left
What is success? Successful people are always looked upon with admiration and respect. Education is the gift every parent wants to give their children; they want them to have a successful life for them. Everyone dreams of success, we all have hopes and accomplishments in life. We all have paths, and paths aren't always smooth there will always be rocks and bumps on the way, occasionally we stumble on these rocks. The rock we stumble upon can be of great help if one learns from the mistake or it can be our choice to stumble upon the same rock constantly. For me success means to learn to set the right goals accomplish those numbers interim goals to prepare myself for the ultimate goal. At this point of my life I feel successful for graduating from high school and attending a community in order for me to transfer to a four-year university.
One of my biggest accomplishments thus far in college has been the semester I found balance in doing things I love. I was only taking two classes at my college, but I was also working at the boys and girls club, participating in a club on campus, mentoring two high school girls, and volunteering at my church multiple days a week. I was forced to manage my time and find a balance of taking care of myself while maintaining college, work, and caring for others. To some this may not be a big deal, but to me it was huge. In order to do this, I learned to use my planner every day. I wrote down everything I had to do and every place I needed to be. Using my planner helped me a ton, but it wasn't what ultimately provided me with the balance I needed to handle my busy schedule.
