Jie-Lun Chou
Jie-Lun Chou is a Taiwanese musician born on 18 January 1979. He is also an actor, a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and a director. He was born to parents who taught him fine arts. His music career started when he was only four years old. The young boy loved to play piano and to listen to music when alone. Like any other child, he had hobbies, and his was playing basketball (Play it yet 1). However, he never attended college, and, thus, he did not have any good academic records. Jacky Wu, a famous TV host, discovered Jay’s talent and hard work and set his sights on making him a star.
Every star has humble beginnings, and Jay’s case was not an exemption. When starting, he was very shy and not so good looking, which was a disadvantage for him. He had even written songs for people before, but they were rejected. The new manager saw potential in him, and being determined to make him famous, he helped him create his album with his previously rejected songs. Within no time, Jay became recognized, and everyone loved his music. He had a fighting spirit and never gave up despite the rejection.

When acting he intended to show Chinese music to the world and not to show off how famous he is. The book was first published in 2003 and since then has won several awards including the book of the year award. Joe Hisaishi was born on December 6, 1950 in Nagano, Japan under the name Mamoru Fujisawa. His musical training started early on, when he began to take violin lessons at age five. It was around this time that he first discovered his passion for music. Fujisawa truly began to explore this passion in the 70’s, during which, a cultural menagerie of Japanese popular music, new-age, and early electronic music flourished. Inevitably, those genres influenced Fujisawa's early compositions.
