Most songs about break-ups will make you sad or depressed, but his version was more I’m more happy without you. His album was number one on the billboards in the month of March. West had a lot of input on this album, because if you listen to the sounds in the beats you can see the similarity between the two artists. Kanye and Big Sean did a collaboration together on a song called “Blessed.” The next day it was on the top of the charts on billboard. The help he gets from Kanye West makes his music well organized and more professional than others, because Kanye is a legend in the hip hop industry. The first song on his album “Dark Sky” started with this thunderstorm sound in the back ground to give you this feeling that he’s about to go hard. After the storm goes away Big Sean starts to go off(Rapping non stop) and at that point I was ready to hear the rest of the album, because of the fact that he convinced me with the first song. The beats he used on

Victor Jara, An Unfinished Song is the biography of Victor Jara as told by his wife, Joan. Victor spent his youth in the poor urban areas of Chile during the time of World War II. Victor 's peasant background had a major effect on his songs because they were all about the political struggles of the lower class in Chile during that time period. Although he started his music career with lyrics influenced by his upbringing, politics were always an undeniably evident theme in all of Jara 's songs because it was an unavoidable topic. There was a lot of violence, corruption, and injustice going with Chilean politics.

Tupac Shakur was a lyrical genius when it came to rapping his feelings about subjects, he was one of the bestselling music artists of all time (Rolling Stone) and yet he was taken from us too early at the young age of 25 while partying in Las Vegas. This story is one that shows how a young musician with so much talent can be taken into the rap culture and enveloped by it, towards the end of his life Shakur produced hundreds of songs ensuring that after his death records would be released for many years. Some say he was crazy and some say he was just misunderstood but either way Tupac was an artist that changed the rap game and continues to influence bilingual rappers to the current day. His work and songs still make it into popular culture and will continue for many years to come. His childhood and upbringing are what made him who he was while also influencing the language and culture used in his music. The locations and personal influences are what inspired him to get into the rap game.
Eminem was born in Missouri, but his formative years were influenced by his life in the neighbourhood of Detroit. Ever wonder why there were so many modern songs about bullying and love but none about our environment? Well, no worries, because here comes “Radioactive,” by Imagine Dragons. I chose this song because it’s about how the environment is polluted. This analysis explains the meaning and the message of the song.
“Buy it, use it, break it, fix it, / Trash it, change it, mail – upgrade it” (Pentatonix 1.1-2). sung by the up and coming acapella group Pentatonix. The first verse of their most known song makes you feel like robots are sing the song base on how almost robotic sounding the vocals are plus with all the vocals and the sound effects in the background. Pentatonix is a five-member acapella group: Scott, Mitch, Kristie, Avi and Kevin. They are known for covertly Daft Punk’s songs and medley into acapella arrangements. The group was publicly notarized when they completed and won on the third season of The Sing Off. Scott, Mitch, Kristie, and Avi do the vocals and Kevin does the vocal percussion or beat-boxing. Pentatonix’s acapella and beat-boxing adds meaning to Daft Punk’s medley when the group combines different verses to make one acapella arrangement. In
The first song I chose is called “We don't believe what's on T.V.” and it’s by twenty one pilots. The song is a fast and energetic song. The song is says that Tyler Joseph songwriter he is asking God if he fails will you be there for me. The meaning of the song is basically if he fails he wants to know if God will be there to help him out through his hard times. The song fits my life because if you don't do good in school or if I'm having trouble I want to know if someone would help me with my rough times. One figurative language is what if my dreams don't happen and that says don't let your dreams die. Another figurative language is I use to want to die before I'm old but because of you I might think twice and that says that
Personally, I believe that the lyrics and hidden meanings behind these songs reflect on the time periods, locations, and situations leading up to that moment.
. This album was one of the first to peel back the foundation of rap, exposing the real meaning of the rapping, to tell it how it is. Biggie rapped to give people a chance to see into his world, to feel his pain. This was a new concept, the lyrics were the focus of the song, not the beat, not the popularity. Biggie brought his reality to light. In the song “N***as Bleed” Biggie rhymes,
With albums such as Section. 80, good kid, m.A.A.d city and To Pimp a Butterfly, Kendrick has been a light in the darkness for older hip-hop listeners as well as those searching for music with substance. In my opinion, To Pimp a Butterfly is one of the most important albums, regardless of genre, to be released in my lifetime. Speaking on a variety of subject matter including gang violence and fame, the bulk of the album unequivocally opens a discourse over issues nearly taboo in mainstream rap such as depression as well as a passionate, candid assessment of police violence. During an interview, Kendrick spoke on the themes within the album, saying, “These are issues that if you come from that environment it’s inevitable to speak on.” He added, “It’s just about balance. I don’t fault other artists. I don’t say that person should be doing that. As conscious as my music sounds, I would never point the finger because every day I make mistakes.” (Lynskey,
I was born on June 25th, 1999. The song that was number one out on my birthday was, ‘If You Had My Love’, by Jennifer Lopez. I think the message of this song is about a girl who has been cheated on and because of this she demands that she is treated right. Part of the lyrics from this song is, “Now if I gave you me, this is how it's got to be. First, I won't take you cheatin' on me. Tell me who can I trust if I can't trust in you and I refuse to let you play me for a fool.” Jennifer Lopez mentions that if she gave herself to him, she wants the relationship to have trust in each other, and does not want him to use her or be cheated on. Her lyrics sound like she has been hurt before and does not want to be hurt anymore. “I don't want you, trying to get with me and I end up unhappy (Don't need the hurt and I don't need the pain)” I connect with this lyric because I have dated guys before Aaron and
