Birth Song: I was born on June 25th, 1999. The song that was number one out on my birthday was, ‘If You Had My Love’, by Jennifer Lopez. I think the message of this song is about a girl who has been cheated on and because of this she demands that she is treated right. Part of the lyrics from this song is, “Now if I gave you me, this is how it's got to be. First, I won't take you cheatin' on me. Tell me who can I trust if I can't trust in you and I refuse to let you play me for a fool.” Jennifer Lopez mentions that if she gave herself to him, she wants the relationship to have trust in each other, and does not want him to use her or be cheated on. This song has a special meaning to me because, in February, Aaron and I saw this stuffed animal that sings ‘Count On Me’. Aaron would also sing that song to me. Also, l used the song in a slideshow that I made for his Valentine’s Day present. Bruno Mars states in his lyrics “And if you ever forget how much you really mean to me, Every day I will remind you”. This part of the lyrics in the song that is special to me because when I am negative about everything, Aaron is always there to challenge me to be positive. I can also be negative about my relationship with him. I tend to doubt in my relationship with him because I am afraid to lose him and I have been through heartbreak. Aaron would always tell me to stop doubting in my relationship with him and just focus what is going on now, not the future.
