My internship at Jewelers of America has been an unforgettable experience. I have learned so much and develop a numerous of skills. I have developed some great relationships with the staff and supervisor at the company. This being my last week on the job will be very sad because it has been an experience that has made me grow as an individual within my career. I would like to continue working at this company because Jewelers of America is a great company to expand your network. As an intern, I have completed all my assignments and projects within the deadline.
Some of the assignments I have completed putting invoices into the system with the correct information provided for the companies to get paid. Another responsibility I had was to verify that each company receives a check with the amount stated on the bill. Also, I assist with

Everyone has been very formal, respectful and kind, but especially Ms. Marjorie. She has a been a person that took time from work to provide me with the proper training necessary. She has explained the several departments within the floor and the several company’s they run. Also, she has gone over the responsibilities I have as an intern within the company. Ms. Marjorie didn’t only provide me with proper training, but she provided me with professional feedback within my career. Jewelers of America has been a company that has allowed me to grow as an individual. If it weren’t for Jewelers of America this wouldn’t have been possible. Jewelers of America is a company that demonstrates unity within staff and among each other. It’s a company that follows a formal structure by emphasizing professionalism and code of ethics. Since I have started my internship I have not seen any unethical behavior. All I have seen is respect and appreciation among the staff. It is a company that works together and seek success within the company and within its
The company's management put a lot of emphasis on taking care of its employees, encouraging an entrepreneurial spirit, treating each other with respect, and being committed

Upper management collaborates with the employees represented by the Advisory Board and the have an open door policy which allows employees access to anyone who is capable for providing them with the necessary assistance or information if needed. The job security that Lincoln offers can be attributed to high job satisfaction as there are not many companies where you are guaranteed a job or adequate hours. Because of this Lincoln’s organizational culture is strong. A strong culture is difficult to change however there is no need to change Lincoln’s culture as it has been working for over 100 years successfully and shows no indication of failing. The culture is heavily influenced by the values of the founders who implemented many of the policies and procedures which are in place today. This is part of the reason why the company has flourished through the years. The groundwork was laid by the early values of the founders and they have been improved upon in the years since. This is part of the maintenance of the
Apart from the experience I have gained at LT Security Inc., my various internship positions have also exposed me to eye-opening responsibilities. For example, as a marketing intern at MySelf New York, I engaged in organized discussions with customers as well as colleagues in the pursuit of better promotional and marketing strategies. I have also gained experience with other matters such as employee coaching and assistance, employee relations, communication and implementation of policies and procedures during my time at Stony Brook University as intern in arts management and at Yunnan Changji Real Estate Co. Ltd where I served as an administrative
But as my internship grew closer to the end date in early September, I began to reflect on my experiences with a “Big Four” accounting firm. After only three months, I had gained exposure to a handful of very different, and very large client work and worked with some very intelligent individuals throughout. I had made some good friends and several acquaintances while interning at KPMG and had spent some very rewarding time helping out the local community volunteering. I had found a passion working with partnerships and forming client relationships.
In conclusion, this organization should focus more on their employees and less on profitability. This reasoning comes from the idea that efficient and appreciated employees will dictate the future of an organization through their quality of work and their outlook on the company they work for. Implementing rewards for employees and showing appreciation towards them will make them feel honored to work for such a company. In addition, word of mouth from employees will dictate in the inflow of new or current customers. If employees are treated fairly and respectfully, they are more likely to recommend their place of employment for shoppers. Finally, the implementation of a hybrid culture will benefit the company by meeting the needs of the employer, employees and customers alike.

Several comments about, “the managers being the best” and “mangers are great to work with”, or even “run for your life” due to poor management occurring. Regardless of the comments, most were very strong which reflects that their ethic program works.
The people in the company and the passion which the people have for what they were doing.
At the same time of this occurrence there were other things that went on pertaining to transference and counter transference. The Intern and I definitely had some type of strong transference and counter transference going on. There was a clash of personalities between the intern and me. We totally did not get along. I felt uneasy and that she did not want me there in the room with her. Why? I thought that maybe she felt challenged. I don’t know, but I felt I asked the patient questions that she forgot to ask. I also gave her my opinion about treatment principle, which I do not think she appreciated. With my previous interns, I was very much part of the intake and treatment process. The interns and I would ask questions. If one forgo...
This unit, doing work around “All American”, helped me learn or understand more about how other people see it. Not everyone sees it like I do. To others, an “All American person” may be a specific image, but generally people think that it could be all different kinds of people. America isn't a country of one race, it's a country of diversity. Before this unit, I hadn't thought about what is considered “All American”, because I embrace my culture and I consider my family and I “All American people”. We live in America, my siblings and I were born in America, we've always thought about ourselves as “All American”. You could even say that I was blind towards racism, similar to Quinn in All American Boys. Unfortunately, that isn't always ideally what happens. People aren't always thought of “All American” or they feel displaced in society because they think they aren't the “American standards”, this unit taught me a lot and I understand the different viewpoints and learned to acknowledge them.

In the entire six months of my internship the more work I did, the more experience I gained. It is the only way out to get better. I was there to learn so I made most of my time there. There are some rules and regulations of the company that we need to follow and being sharp on time is very important. Cowor...
It has been a while since I started at the internship and I am really glad I decided to work here. I think the experience in this area is a good preview of my career and future. I am learning some important skills and finding out some things about myself and the tough skin I will need in order to stay in the area of juvenile support.
