Interpersonal communication is the most important kind of communication. It happens when two individuals are in a close proximity to each other, and they are able to provide immediate feedback to one another. IPC (interpersonal communication) is the way we express our thoughts, feelings, and ideas to the people around us. Interpersonal communication is something you need to do well as it affects many aspects of your life.

Interpersonal communication is a learned skill that can be improved with knowledge and practice. What makes these skills necessary is that they allow you to express your thoughts, feelings, and any information quickly and orderly. These skills can help you understand someone, and can even help you make an environment that is open to effective communication. The three steps to effective interpersonal communication are the following: acknowledging the individual, send a message, and affirm.

Acknowledging the individual is the first steps towards effective communication. This is how the sender will start the process of communication. The sender needs to let the person they are conversing with know that they are taking an interest in what the other person has to say, this is an important step in the process. The sender has to acknowledge that the person they are speaking with may have needs they also need met. This step alone may make a huge difference in the level of effective communicating.

The second step in effective communication is to send a message. To communicate effectively with interpersonal communication it is necessary to send a clear message.
