Informative Essay: Twenty-Five Random Acts Of Kindness

The ancient Greek storyteller Aesop once said, “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” This is true because small acts of kindness are important because even though the thing you might be doing is small, it will make someone else’s day better. You never know what someone’s going through or what will make their day better. Whenever you have the opportunity you should participate in random acts of kindness. A few years ago when there was a shooting at an elementary school everyone was challenged to do twenty-five random acts of kindness, for the twenty-five lives lost. About a week later my sister and great-grandmother went to the store to pick up some food. While they were there they got scratch off tickets. The ticket got them one dollar so they bought another one, they went to a table so they could scratch it better and they found another ticket that somebody had left there. Next to it there was a card that said, “This was done as a part of the twenty-five random acts of kindness, I hope it’s good.” My sister scratched off the card they had found and got twenty dollars!
