Area 51 may be the most famous military base run by the US government that doesn’t officially exist as no one knows what goes on inside the base past its perimeters. Its current primary purpose is publicly unknown; however, based on historical evidence, it most likely supports the development and testing of experimental aircraft Under highly secretive conditions. The official explanation given by the military is that this is the location of a firing range used by the US Air Force.
