The first Daytona to come out of production was it's base model in 1984.
In 1984 the Daytona was introduced to the public. ¨The styling of Dodge's little G-body go-fast toy was ahead of its time when it was introduced in 1984.¨ (Ross, Daniel Charles, and Don 1). Dodge, the series' primary sponsor, is making a bold public-relations move by debuting the replacement for the aging Dayton (rumored to be named the Avenger) as this year's IROC race car. (Emanuelson, Leonard. 1) That new design, the Dodge Avenger, was first in production in 1994. ¨Aerodynamically, the Avenger is a vast improvement over the Daytona it replaces. It's a coupe as opposed to a hatchback, which, according to Signore, really cleans up the airflow around the B- and C-pillars. It's also about 5 inches shorter from the spindle to the front end. ¨ ( Emanuelson, Leonard 1). The Avenger was an overall success for Dodge and replacing the Daytona with it was a risk that helped Dodge make a considerable profit off of the replacement. The avenger was made from 1994 and was discontinued in 2000, but later was continued from 2007 and is still in production today as a full size sedan instead of the less popular
The 1956 model year brought out a new car, The Rambler. This was not a new name, but the car came out with no mention of Nash or Hudson. The Dodge company does not make their claims lightly. They back up their statements with strong support. One example of this is their assertion that they have a "roomy, even more economic interior" and a "big, comfortable backseat" that help to separate their truck from the competition. Even more convincing is their factual evidence by J.D. Power and Associates, noted for their credible analysis of cars and trucks, who ranked the Ram Quad Cab as the "Most Appealing Full-Size Pickup" for the third year in a row. These facts, coupled with an appealing and vibrant picture of the truck, draws the reader in and makes him more interested in the product.

Some say that automotive racing began when the second car was built. For over a hundred years, competition has driven innovation in the car industry, thus the industry maxim “Win on Sunday, sell on Monday.” NASCAR and drag racing contributed greatly to muscle cars’ success. Muscle cars were born from these competitions as factory made race cars. Because of this, the muscle car quickly moved from a low quantity specialty item to the image of the American automotive scene. Each brand had to have one and each one needed better performance and personality than the next. The Golden Age began in the 1960s with the introduction of more performance models such as the Chevy SS Impala and the Ford Galaxy Starliner (Auto Editors).
Flink’s Three stages of American automobile consciousness fully express the progress of the whole automobile industry. From the first model T to the automatic production, it gives me an intuitive feeling of the automobile history from a big picture. On the other hand, Kline and Pinch focus more on a certain group of people--farmers or people who live in the rural area, they use it as an entry point to talk about automobile, alone with the role and duty transition between male and
I think that the target audience for these cars is the same. these cars are family cars. Both of the cars are designed to be comfortable and safe, they are not advertised to be fast sports cars. or stylish city cars; they are advertised as normal cars. In both of the adverts there is no real reference towards the performance of the car apart from in the Chrysler where there is a reference to the fuel.

I lived with my father for my entire life, but due to his work I did not spend much time with him. My father worked at a different city; and thus he comes home only a few times a month. My father is a mechanic. He works at a company that is distant from our home. This was due to the company being the only one and the first where cars were being assembled in Ethiopia. Sometimes on the weekends I used to go to his work place. He would give me a trip of the place; the station was filled with vehicles, trucks, and motorcycles. It was separated by sections. In each section there were only one type of vehicle and the assembly process was shown step by step. From a fuse to large engine of the car, components were getting attached.
