In order to have an indivisible self it is important to value a wellness approach. As it is mentioned in the book of Counseling and Interviewing “Wellness and positive psychology are effective a basis for growth and change in both mind and body.” Wellness is important to help build confidence and helps us to develop positive relationship in order to develop a sense of worth that will helps not only ourselves but those who surround us to feel treasured and supported.
The first dimension, also called “The essential Self” serve as our foundation on wellness. This stage is subdivided into 4 different subsections: Spirituality, Gender Identity, Cultural identity and Self- care. As the word itself says, this 4 sections are absolutely necessary because they define the way we act and behave in every situation. The elements of the essential self are what make us unique and outstanding among others.

For me, women’s are the foundation of a society. Women are the strongest as well as the weakest creatures. As women we have accomplished and integrated ourselves in so many areas that has proven our worth and leadership as members of a society. As women we usually overreact and develop feelings for the smallest things. I cry, I laugh and love engaging in conversations. In many cases, women are expected to behave in a certain way. We are constantly judged and criticized if we do not follow that the norms and patterns of behavior of gender roles dictate.
