Inclusive practice within educational settings is crucial for creating an environment where all students feel valued and have equal opportunities to succeed. During a busy school day, I found that I am always short of time, which highlights the need to improve my ability to prioritise tasks and allocate time efficiently. Additionally, improving organisational skills will enable me to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce the likelihood of overlooking important aspects of inclusive practice. Furthermore, I recognise the need to expand my understanding of different cultures to better cater to the diverse needs of my students. By embracing cultural competence, we can create a more inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes cross-cultural understanding. Moreover, I need to organise regular reviews with staff and students, as suggested by Brookfield (1995). This can help identify blind spots and areas for improvement, fostering continuous growth and development. Finally, enhancing listening skills is essential for effectively understanding and addressing the needs of diverse learners.
