If other persons are also working for the plan there is a need of coordination. A workable time and activity plan must be built, step by step, to fit the needs of a particular organization. Conditions in no two organizations are the same. As such, time for interruptions and unexpected demands must be planned in advance. These demands are a part of the day’s activities. Although the details of time and activity plans will differ for each employee, the steps in making the plans are much the same. Carefully considered time plans can increase satisfaction and reduce indecision or worry in the application of time and other resources to reach goals. The importance of being on time in the military (or anywhere at all), is simply a symptom of discipline, which was instilled in new enlisted soldiers during basic training. Being on time shows reliability. We have to show discipline, responsibility, show care through following military rules and regulations. Being on time not only pertains to accountability, but shows respect to our fellow soldiers, our unit, command and organization as a whole. Being on time also will avoid any disciplinary actions that may hinder you from reaching your goals. Being on time may have a greater importance and effect, than we may know. Being on time enables us to be able to trust and rely on each other in life and death situations. Last but not least, it shows that we will be able and ready to capitalize on our capabilities to complete our missions. It is not acceptable to be late (except when involving safety limitations), because missions and operations are interlocking pieces that must function together as a whole in order for it to work in a timely manner. All successful and respective people all have one common attribute, and this is knowing and exhibiting the importance of being on time.

Adequate and effective time management strategies will be adopted for implementing all of the above strategies in effective and efficient way

With effective time management, I discovered many ways in which I can be successful with the management of my time and able to adjust my schedules and to lower time stress. By careful evaluation, I realize I spent my time browsing the internet which often focus on some of the unproductive things. I started making my time productive by active focusing on important goals which included fitness, scheduling important work to less important tasks every day and slowly I effectively organized myself.

In the workplace, time management is an important factor in everyone’s day-to-day work. If a person’s time is well managed, it is possible to achieve a greater amount in a shorter space of time. How effectively people manage their time has a major influence on aspects of their working lives and their personal lives. Effective time management can have a hugely positive effect on a person, it can lead to a focused and disciplined mentality, giving a higher level of productivity, greater efficiency and an all round positive attitude in life. This benefits the individual, their team, the company they work for and also their friends and family. An example of this is an employee who prioritises their jobs at the start of the day; this gives them a structured day and ensures they have time to complete all of the important jobs. However, if time is poorly managed it can lead to inefficiencies, work overload and added pressure, this could eventually lead on to other issues such as stress.
The problem of time management can be said to be universal not only affecting students but also other people in careers. This problem is seen to transition from a person’s life from different cadres of his or her engagement specifically from home, school and at work. It is also a problem that is internal and not external.

All of the things that we have spoken about in this paper are highly recommended. The best thing to do when it comes to time management is to set a strategy, become organized and do your best to avoid procrastination. Time management is not a new idea and many methods have been proposed regarding the best way to handle time management issues for business students. These suggestions can often be quite simple, such as writing down lists of things to do in order to support people in making good use of their time for work or recreational purposes. When time pressures are high, planning tasks and actions does not always lead to the completion of the work. It is in recognition of this that time management training programs have been designed, aiming to give an insight into the time required for activities, ways to make time plans, and increasing the efficiency of people by teaching them how to plan properly, how to prioritize tasks, and how to handle unexpected tasks. This is increasingly easy, particularly for students, as “books, articles, and time management training programs that were initially developed for managers have been made available to everyone”.(Claessens, Brigitte J.C. 2004).
Time management is the key to success, it allows you to take control of your life rather than following in the footsteps of others. You accomplish more, you make better decisions, and you work more efficiently; this leads to a more successful life. It can be the key difference between getting projects done and ultimately failing.
