Everyone is a pioneer, but only few realize it. I am one of the few who has pertinently realized the need for having a revolutionary perspective and vision on the forthcoming creations of science that would affect our living in more than one way.
“In short people see hints and ask why, but I see thinks and ask why not” This has been my frame of mind since childhood. I have always asked questions and been inquisitive of everything around me. I have never dismissed a thought however elementary it may be and this how I approach life, positive and promising.

It all began when I first had a hand on experience by dismantling some home appliances, the television, the toys etc. This urge and curiosity were boosted when I got to know at school the fundamental principles that produced those material beings. While discussing the unknown frontier that scientists must endure, Barry describes a “wilderness region” that is unfamiliar and new. He continues to say that scientists venture “through the looking glass” into a new frontier. These devices help to create familiar ideas that the audience will understand in an unfamiliar situation. A simile used to compare research to a “crystal” by explaining that “probing” was to “ precipitate an order out of chaos,” much like a crystalline structure forms an ordered structure. Finally, Berry implements a metaphor in order to describe what follows a discovery. He describes “a flood of colleagues” that “ pave roads over the path laid.” This metaphor describes how science continuously changes, one discovery after another while ultimately communicating the patience and curiosity a scientist must have. The culmination of these figurative devices teach a new way of an audience that is unfamiliar with the author's theme.
...om society. Although Bishop makes no excuses for the shortcomings of science and academia, he delivers an ominous message to those who would attack the scientific community: Science is the future. Learn to embrace it or be left behind.
I lived a simple, normal childhood in the company of my family and friends. But I had what one might call “abnormal:” my obsession to finding answers to questions on my own. I refused to listen to what people told me about the world or how they answered my questions. It was not enough. I preferred to seek the knowledge of why the answers were the way they were. I thought that would help me find a true purpose in the simple actions we do throughout our lives. In school as a child, the teachers would struggle trying to keep their patience with me. Through every integral concept we learned in class, I would continue to question my teachers because I was never concerned with “how” we do something, but more about “why” each step in solving a problem is important. Through this process of searching for
The determination of a vocation or calling is a standout amongst the most essential things of life. However it is similarly troublesome. The absence of controlling administrations, legitimate advising and constantly expanding unemployment has further convoluted the matter. There is vicious rivalry. It was October 1998 when an infant was born in New Delhi, India to a relatively unwealthy family. Two years later, this family made a migration from India to the opposite side of the planet, in the United States. The young infant alongside this family was no other than myself, which meant that I was going to grow up in a society much unlike that of which my parents and ancestors grew up in, a culture that I did not easily fit in socially, mentally, and even physically. Even though my foreign background has caused much of a struggle throughout my life, it did allow me to learn a few but critical lessons that I simply cannot thrive without.
"We often think of science as something inescapably linked to progress, and of progress as continually marching forward. We assume that there is something inevitable about the increase of knowledge and the benefits this knowledge brings" (Irvine & Russell). Provide humanity with wisdom and speculative enjoyment. This enjoyment of the public is through reading, learning and thinking. But scientists are met with the real research work.

After a person is aware of their ignorance, they can seek knowledge by learning from others and discovering for themselves. Living a life where someone is constantly examining themselves is important because if they do not examine themselves, then they will not have knowledge about the things they do not know about themselves. Learning from others is a passive way of getting to know something because you are not trying to go out and experience it yourself and learn through experiences. Learning from others is crucial early on in a humans’ life. As humans grow up, they should start seeking more knowledge for themselves as opposed to learning from others because seeking knowledge for ourselves can help to get to the deeper truth about themselves or something else. In school, students often are learning from others instead of gaining knowledge themselves. When students start to discover knowledge themselves, they are trying to get to the truth and are interested in gaining knowledge about the

Obstacles had never been obstructing my effort to succeed in life. As an engineer to be, it is important to me to be prepared for the hurdles in the real world. The world nowadays needs a person who could compete and has great abilities to stand on the same level as others. Multiple skills and critical opinion of an issue are essential for an engineer to jump into this challenging career. For me, a strategic planning and full preparation need to achieve the aim of being an expert engineer.

These four components are the core thing that makes educators and practitioners has a chance for practicing civil engineering at the professional level, and become a professional engineer. By reading his paper (Russell 2013), it gives an idea to readers that to become a professional engineer it’s not an easy task. It requires a lot of work from educators to achieve
As the late Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” When it comes to the topic of higher education and if it is worthwhile, strong opinions come into play. Many people believe that higher education is valuable because there are undeniable benefits from the time put forth in college and beyond. On the other hand, some people also believe that college is not for everyone, and all career paths do not require a college degree. Higher education is a valuable tool from which the benefits can been seen in future salaries, personal growth, and in opportunities that arise.

In our culture today, there is a huge emphasis on education, especially higher education. Society basically says the more educated you are, the better off you are. That is pretty much true if you live by the means of society. The basic idea that education, especially a college education, is something that people should pursue even into their adult years is not by any means a new idea.
