With the passing of the years we are going more and more towards a global world. This process is called Globalization and it started by our ancestors. To understand well the meaning of Global Collaboration first of all we have to know the meaning of Globalization. According with the National Geography: ” Globalization is the connection of different parts of the world. Globalization results in the expansion of international cultural, economic, and political activities. As people, ideas, knowledge, and goods move more easily around the globe, the experiences of people around the world become more similar ”. Now it is easy understand that the world is going to the direction where everybody we are part of the same system where the interactions become more and more strong and we share goals and problems / issues to solve. Exactly for these reasons arise and intensify Global Collaborations between countries. There are many different kinds of Global Collaborations and it is impossible list all of them, but now I want to name a short list from the book “ Q: Skills for Success – Reading and Writing ” only to get how large and different could be these collaborations: stopping the spread of disease, preventing hunger, maintaing peace, developing new technology, advancing science and medicine, protecting the environment, exploring space and improving education.
- IMPORTANCE TO WORK TOGETHER
After this brief introduction we can now evaluate the importance for different countries to work together to solve global issues or pursue an ambitious goal. CONCLUSION
I chose this example of global collaboration because it represents one of the few examples where more countries are involved. As I wrote, the issues addressed and discussed in this summit are very different and extremely topical. I believe that the G8 as other similar forms of global collaboration, are the only ones that really they can change the world and find a solution to world problems. This is possible because there are involved the greatest powers in the world and the goal is to help the weak, protect the environment and ensure the freedom in the world. It is understand that the global collaborations can make the world better.
Cooperation in our global world is essential for harmony and peace. In Blood on the River, Carbone shows us the importance of friends, colonists, and natives. This relates to our modern world, which cooperation is important to live life. Without cooperation, we would not be able to work with other countries and the people around us. Even in our modern world, cooperation is still the key to

Our global world is being more connected as we become integrated politically, socially and even economically. Due to the Bretton woods agreement, different countries have been economically dependent on each other in fear for war to erupt. From then on different organizations and policies tied more countries into being economic globalized. This economic globalization had then given us many opportunities in trades and more access to natural resources in other countries. Unfortunately, there are some negative effects that are brought to less developed country. Overall, many people believe that economic globalization does a great work on accumulating our economy and our quality of life.
...haped the world we live in today. It is imperative that we take both characteristics into account, for to truly benefit from the global perspective of world history we must ask global questions and frame them in the language of a global point of view. By taking the large-scale approach we can see issues in a different light that just may lead to solutions that work better for more people, not just the winners.
In “Anarchy is What States Make of It” Alexander Wendt describes two opposing state systems—competitive and cooperative. In competition, “states identify negatively with each other’s security so that ego’s gain is seen as alter’s loss.” In cooperation, “the security of each [state] is perceived as the responsibility of all.” Currently, there are problems such as the spread of nuclear weapons, terrorism, poverty in developing countries, international financial instability, and climate change that confront the entire global community. Ideally states could cooperate in order to solve all of these dilemmas in the next twenty years. Realistically, they will only solve problems with specific and easily stated solutions. Cooperation tends to trip over every possible stumbling block, and simple solutions are necessary in order to clearly define a problem, evaluate the costs and benefits, and allow states to reach a consensus. Simplicity may require fewer actors; some problems would be better off solved within a state or bilaterally.

In the end, countries that cooperate and do not discriminate against each other will help themselves and the world flourish. If these developed countries continue to prejudge underdeveloped countries by wealth or other conditions, when people are faced with serious problems in society, these problems become global. By helping each other, all countries offer hope and compassion, and share new knowledge with each other. Therefore, people all over the world would suffer less, because they know they are not alone.

In recent years, particularly during the late twentieth century, the world has witnessed significant growth in its number of international organizations, accompanied by an increase in global interdependence (Weiss, Seyle, & Coolidge, 2013). This growth has contributed to a shift in the dynamics of global politics that includes greater involvement of non-state actors in global problem-solving and policymaking (Falkner, 2011).
