To depend on others when my grade depends on it NO WAY. Group projects are a workload even though they can provide some real world experience. Students like me hate group projects. Students hate group projects because group members get off task, all the group members get the same grade and you have to rely on other students. First of all, I hate group projects because students in the group get off task. I hate group projects because whenever someone in the group see their friend they started to get distracted. As an example when I was doing a project in spanish this girl would always zone off and talk to her friend and she never got work done. It was until she realized that she need to do work. I hate this because whenever the group project has a participation grade and the one person who doesn’t do anything brings the grade down. For example when I had a history project some of the grade was about participation.The group got points taken away because some students weren’t participating. Some teachers may give you a seperate grade but that is very few. Most teachers just sometimes give you grades about how much your group participates. For example in 6th grade my history teacher made us do a presentation. The teacher paired me up with shy kids and the didn’t speak during the presentation and our group got a bad grade just because she didn’t speak. Another things that I hate that all the group members get the same grade is that they always say why did our group get this grade. As an example this girl was using our group to not do her work and she was wondering why our group got a bad grade. Little did she know is that it was her fault because she didn’t participate in anything.This is just one thing I hate about group projects but group projects also show how students have to rely on other students and how it is
