It also stores everything that you have experienced in your life, and sometimes it uses these experiences to control how you function. It can even exaggerate the thoughts and feelings that occurred during past events and use them to prevent you from doing something today. The biggest issue with trying to overcome these subconscious fears is that you probably do not even know what they are, or why they are there.
