Hi Ladies, During the holidays, if you're lucky, someone will say "What do you want for Christmas?" You quickly rattle off a list of things you've been coveting all year, or you say, "Just a gift card, thank you" Some of us believe that Christmas isn't just about presents and spending money, and ask for nothing at all. I'm not sure I fit completely in one category, but when Dad and the boys say "What do you want for Christmas?" I draw a complete blank. I don't understand it. All year I'm wishing I could have those funky shoes from DSW, or the latest laptop or camera (for my blog, of course), or a collection of polishes that are just outside my budget. But when you ask me for my wish list, my brain disappears, I hear crickets chirping inside …show more content…
[sarcastic understatement] I can't begin to list what I have, and I won't try to. I love MAC, Too Faced, Urban Decay (ohhh Urban Decay) Smashbox, Lorac, Stila, Tarte, The Balm...and on and on. But, I find myself regularly wearing only one brand. Makeup Geek (MUG). I might love the others, but I'm addicted to Makeup Geek shadows. They beat out MAC any day. Yes! I said it, and I'm not taking it back. The formula is like butter, the colors are outstanding, and they're as pigmented as Urban Decay and Lorac! Yes, I said it, and I'm not taking that back either. And you know what else? MUG has the best collection of matte shadows you'll ever find, and they're about half the price of most high end brands. Marlena, the creator of Makeup Geek cosmetics, has outdone herself with her eye shadows. I started off purchasing just a few, and before I knew it I had collected the majority of her collection. Today, I'm going to show you a few of my favorites. I like a matte shadow on my brow bone. I used to use ABC Gum (Already Been Chewed... so cool) by Urban Decay. It was the perfect amount of creamy nude peach. But when I discovered Makeup Geek I fell in love with Peach Smoothie. I keep three (purse, home,
Christmas has consumed itself. At its conception, it was a fine idea, and I imagine that at one point its execution worked very much as it was intended to. These days, however, its meaning has been perverted; its true purpose ignored and replaced with a purpose imagined by those who merely go through the motions, without actually knowing why they do so.
All women wish to look their best on their wedding day, prom, or their ten year anniversary, so it is a makeup artist’s job to fulfil this desire. The art of emphasizing one’s most attractive features by highlighting the inner corner of the eye to brighten the eyes, contouring the cheeks to make the cheekbones appear higher and painting on bold lipstick to form perfect, plump lips make the face appear flawless. Some people do not wear makeup everyday, so when they do, their face can appear brightened and awake, therefore they believe they look wonderful. Although many people are confident in their appearance and do not demand makeup to boost their self-esteem, wearing well-applied makeup will always make someone feel
The second direct competitor to Chanel is L'Oréal, the world's largest manufacturer of high-quality cosmetics, perfumes, and hair and skin care products. Just like the constantly changing fashion world, makeup fads come and go. However, what never changes is the correct approach to applying makeup to achieve the ultimate goal of looking the best you possibly can.

Hello Everyone, First, thank you for the Christmas gifts. They are very nice and appreciated and we will find a nice place to put them. The wooden plaque of Cheryl will go nicely on the wall I have reserved for the family tree. I have several family pictures there already. I also Love the Lantern.
Makeup has transformed the lives of so many individuals and continues to play an important role in the daily routines of many women (and those men who choose to wear makeup). [Pause] The main reason why makeup initially became integrated into the daily lives of many individuals was to help conceal facial features that people were insecure about. Now, as of 2018, makeup has helped many people in terms of their general self-confidence. The stereotype that makeup is used to impress others is as far off as one can get. No individual would put so much time [Pause], effort [Pause], and education [Pause] into a task that is only to impress others. It is nice to present our self-expression to others, but it all reflects how one feels. One can change
The usual Christmas time, the joy of festivities and much more. Little Sally was watching television with her mother when she had asked “Sally, what would you like for Christmas this year?” Sally knew exactly what she had wanted this year, not only seconds after thinking of what she would like...BAM! The advertisement for her guitar set was on the screen “Right there, Mom! That is what I want!” Being said, there are multiple ways to catch the interests of buyers. With the multiple ways of catching the buyer's interests, the most effective ways are Humor and Story.

MAKEUP Has it ever occurred to you where makeup started, how it started, or who created it? I’ll start off by saying that it goes back about twelve thousand years ago. Makeup has always been a beauty thing; it was for many cultural reasons too. It started back when the ancient Egyptians women wanted to look their best, and saw the use of face paint. Yes, the Egyptians did use it to dress and impress, but not to the men they would surround them self with, or to look cute for a guy they worked with.
Makeup has been present in various cultures for much longer than most individuals know. The earliest recorded account was in the Ancient World like Egypt as early as 10,000 BCE (Cosmetic Info, 2016). Makeup has evolved tremendously over time and has gone through many different phases, which has caused there to be many unique makeup techniques. The styles of makeup are not only based on their current time periods, but they are also based on the section of the world in which one lives. Makeup in the modern day has become, for most, a staple of their everyday lives, but it has also been the subject of criticism.

It’s easy to forget about what a product is made with because not everyone reads the ingredient labels.
