Today I get to celebrate the most AMAZING man on earth- my dear husband- Eddie Powers! Eddie you are truly my better half! You are my rock and best friend. I feel so secure in your love and am astonished by your composure in tough situations. I trust in your decisions for our family, and look to the future you are helping build for us. When I am sick, you care for me with such tenderness. In times of frustrations, you demonstrate a calm to us all that is to be marveled. You have supported me through some extremely tough times and have allowed me to cry as you lay hands on me and pray it through when I had no strength left in me. Never hesitant to get up late and bring a hungry baby to me, or change their diaper, or rock them just so I could
Good evening. I would like to begin by welcoming each and every one of you to this joyous and stressful occasion.
(Stand up, mobile phone in hand)” Well thank you vicar it is a bit inconvenient at the moment I am just about to start the speeches."
Well, good afternoon everyone, for those of you that don?t know me my name is Lee and I?m Janie?s dad, and in keeping with tradition, it is my honor and privilege to deliver the ?Father of the Bride Speech?. Having to make this speech is one of the few opportunities in a married man?s life when he is allowed to do all of the talking...and I intend to make the most of it.
May the love you express to each other today, always be the first thoughts during any trying times in the future.
Humorous Wedding Speech by the Best Man When Daniel came to me and asked me to be his best man, it was a great honour but, when I looked at all the duties required of me, I felt he’d be better off choosing someone else. Then he offered me a fifty, but I told him that it wasn’t a decision that money could change. So then he offered me a hundred. Anyway, good evening Ladies and Gentlemen - My name is Rob and it’s my pleasure to be Daniel’s best man today.
I’d like to begin by thanking the groom for asking me to be best man. I would also like to thank the bride for allowing him to ask me. The groom has a splendid set of friends, and to be nominated from such esteemed company is without doubt a great honor. Thanks also to the ushers, friends, and family who have all helped to make this day so special.
Humorous Wedding Speech about the Groom Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Before starting the one speech that I know you’ve all been waiting for, I’d like to thank both Steve and Marcus – my two support acts. And I’d also like to thank Marcus in particular, for hosting what so far has been an absolutely fantastic wedding.
I would like to start my speech today by thanking Richard for his kind words. I am really proud to have become Isia’s husband; ever since the day we met I have been treated as one of the family and this has made our Journey to this day that much smoother! Thank you both for your blessing I promise that I will make you proud and live up to the high expectations I am sure you have! Thank you for everything you have both done in making this day so special if it wasn’t for you I am sure I would still be saving. So far the day has been an amazing experience and I am sure it can only get better.
You came into my life and changed me forever. Over the years people have complimented me for being a good mother but I can't take credit for that. You were born good and you were the one who was often teaching me. I believe you are an angel God sent to teach me. You taught me love. You taught me honesty. You taught me how to forgive and how to be strong. You are the strongest person I have ever known and you gave me strength when I was weak. When times were sad and tough I looked to you for strength. You taught me how to be myself. Most of all you taught me about life and how to live.
Big thanks to the best man, my dear brother. I’m not sure I should give you the gift now with your speech pending. This man had the easiest job on the day, or perhaps he just made it look easy.
As Father of the Bride, I am honored to be the first to speak this evening. I would like to begin by welcoming each and every one of you on this joyous occasion. It is good to see so many friends and family here today to help celebrate Paula and Manson’s wedding. I would also like to remember those who have meant so much to our family, but could not be here today.
I am the father of Lizette Jenny Zaya who is married to Alfredo Morales Ramirez. I am writing this letter today in support of my son-in-law’s hardship waiver. I want to demonstrate how important and involved Alfredo in the overall wellbeing of our family. If Alfredo is refused permission to stay in the United States, my daughter and granddaughters will be forced to endure extreme emotional hardships and how their household will face financial hardships. I hope this letter helps you understand how essential Alfredo is to our entire family.
Four years ago, I stood before my middle school class on our graduation day, and I gave a speech concerning growing up and learning new secrets about your friends and yourself. A great deal of you who sit here today were apart of that class, and I hope you remember that speech, seeing as I don’t. I don’t remember a single word I preached, so I have a fresh speech today since I can’t rewrite, revise, and reprise the original one. Before I dive in too deep, more than anyone I want thank my mother, for instilling in me the desire to represent myself as an exceptional individual. If it was not for her I would not have developed my drive to succeed.
You asked me to tell you what's going on, and although I would've liked to tell you in person, I thought if I wrote it all down nothing would be forgotten and I wouldn't be swayed by what you had to say. I don't want you to take this as me trying to hurt you, this is me telling you exactly what's been going on to hopefully give you some closure. I am going to be brutely honest, I feel used, manipulated, and taken advantage of. I can tell you where it all originated, it was our double date. From there it has been a constant downward spiral.
To a very special mother on this day, You carried me around in your stomach for 9 months then carrying me in your arms giving your love to me kissing me, tickling me, hugging me and watching over me it’s been 13 years since my birth and I could never wish being born in a different family the only home that suits me is the one you put me in. I know I may annoy you half to death, how you put up with me is a mystery, but you still say you love me and wish me the best before I go to bed and go to sleep or school. Most of the time I am learning from you or I am arguing over a stupid subject because I don't think I just do and I want to apologize and also say thank you! Having four kids and a husband to take care of and working at a factory is a
