Kimari, Good morning, I am sure you are very busy as a guest services manager I know people can be needy and I hopefully won't take up to much of your time. First and foremost you should know, I've had a great experience and nothing but good things to say about every one of your employees I have interacted with. It has truly been enjoyable. Malia was very helpful on the phone when I was searching for places to stay while here TDY with the Air Force. I have been with you since the 25th of January and will be here until the 12th of March, nearly 50 days. However, my lengthy stay puts me in a bit of a perdiciment. I understand you need to put a hold on my Travel card for the full amount of my stay which is around $9600. Unfortunatly, my Government travel card has a $7500 limit and I also have to use it for food and rental car while I am here. My home station was aware that me being here this long would cause me to go over the limit on my card and planned to file periodic travel vouchers throughout the trip to pay off the balance allowing me to continue paying for lodging and food throughout my stay. …show more content…
He explained that his options are limited and I kind of fall into a unique situation being here so long and in a more expensive location. He can raise the limit on my card to $10,000 but, that will still leave no room on the card for food and car rental. I will have to file a travel voucher regardless. The other option is to request a special funding from headquarters but he said the process for that is lengthy and will likely take several weeks to get approved. He suggested talking to a Manager and see if there was a way for you to we can do to split up charging my card throughout my
A military officer must manage pieces of one of the largest organizations in the United States government - an organization that accounts for the third largest piece of the American budget and is comprised of 1.3 million active sailors, soldiers, airmen, and marines, many of whom are tasked with being deployable to any location within 48 hours. This is only possible through concise, professional communication on the part of every service member, especially
When I began my employment with the Denver VA, I had no intention of leaving so soon. Prior to the VA I was DOD working at McConnell AFB for over 5 years. I never did the bare minimum required of me, I went above and beyond, and I was a part of something bigger than me. I was recognized at multiple levels against hundreds of civilians and selected for: 2nd Quarter Civilian award (2011), 2nd Quarter Civilian award (2012), Group Civilian Category 1 award (2013), Squadron Civilian Category 1 award (2013), Level 2 Annual Performance Award (2014), Squadron Civilian Category 1 award (2015), Level 3 Annual Performance Award (2015). So when it came time for my family and me to move, I wanted to find another job that I could be an asset to. The job posting for the Denver VA was posted on USAJOBS in July 2015.
I’m Looking forward to spending time with each one of you and sharing ideas that will help make your career pathway successful. Also, sharing ideas and feedback that will further enhance quality of care on the unit.
I want to thank you for all your had work and motivation you have brought to our team. Thanks for helping our membership during the military affairs events. You are wonderful addition to the Addison MD&P team. I appreciate all your assistance and help transitioning into my new role.
am composing this email to inform you of the reasons I want to take over your position as Operations Group Commander. I will list the reasons I want to be Operations Group Commander along with the experience I am hoping to receive.
I am very excited to be applying for the Supervisory Staff Administrator (SSA) position supporting the 327th Quartermaster Battalion. Throughout the last eight years, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of positions within the U.S. Army Reserve and Department of Defense that have prepared me for this potential assignment. As a Human Resource NCO, Unit Administrator, and Staff Administrative Assistant, I have provided administrative, medical, and pay support for the S-1. In my current assignment as the Staff Operations and Training Specialist, I have provided support as the Physical Security Officer and Security Manager for the S-2, Training and Operations support for the S-3, purchasing support utilizing the Government Purchasing Card for the S-4, and ADT and ADA budgeting/reporting for the S-8. Lastly, I have supported the Battalion’s S-6 by leveraging my personal experiences as a systems administrator, providing direct technical support by imaging workstations and assisting co-workers with computer issues. My far-reaching work experience has allowed me to become
This will be my busiest quarter, with it being the beginning of the school year. I will have continued to contact juniors, senior, and High school grades though out this quarter. I will be sure to update all lead information in Recruiter Zone. I will have contacted the football coach and volunteered my time to make sure I keep a presence with the sports teams. I will have distributed all desk calendars to teacher with my business card attached, so I can ensure all teachers have my contract information. These calendars also have a list of available National Guard sponsored school programs which teachers can provided to their students. This will also be the quarter in which I set up dates with my schools to administer the SASVAB. In the 1st quarter I will keep up relations with the Chamber of Commerce, and be sure I’m aware of all upcoming town events.
I will not be in my office from Monday, October 2nd until Friday, October 6th. I asked Colin Camus to be the Team lead in my absence and he kindly agreed to do that. He will coordinate any activities that would require special attention or the Team effort.
What job openings do you currently have and which position is of very high demand or of urgent need.
There was a legitimate late cancel because of the conference but coordinator get frustrated when they call pt then have to call again to cancel. I told them how to access vacation calendar for us.
In the year 2015, I worked in customer service at a vacation rental business called Cocoa Beach Villas, located in Cocoa Beach. My job was to answer phone calls, provide information about the units and help guests as needed. I worked from March to July, working about 10 hours a week, then switched to my current job as an associate at T.J. Maxx, where I work 10-15 hours a week. I began working here in August after my previous job came to an end, because the vacation rental business is seasonal, when summer came to an end the owner no longer needed an extra hand. My experience with customer service, however, allowed me to adapt quickly to the new environment. My job as an associate requires me to help customers as needed, keep the store organized,
Have you ever tried bartering? Make sure you are using business credit cards that award travel points to minimize cash expenditures on future business trips.
First thing is first, though. As stated above, you really want to think about how often you travel. If the answer is not often, then you might as well go for another reward program that offers you restaurant gift cards, electronics, or even cash back. Sometimes, these cards even offer airline travel rewards. Your points will be better spent this way, and you won’t have card companies nagging you about how you need to spend your points soon to take advantage of your travel rewards. If you have nowhere to go, those points are just going to sit, and that’s a complete waste.
Hi, I wanted to write you both a letter to go over a few things so that you both know what to expect a little more. I know some of it is common sense, but I just wanted to write it all out to give everyone a bit more peace of mind.
I just wanted to send a friendly hello your way. I hope all is well and that you are having a well rested summer. My education is progressing nicely, as I anticipate I should be completed with my doctorate by June 2017. I have officially applied for the admin. credential program and should be done by June 2017 as well. I ended up not accepting the behavior specialist position at Desert Sands Unified. It was a difficult decision due to the fact I really liked all the team members however, I need to be a bit closer to home right now. I am hopeful a perfect position will open up in the future.
