Good Evening, I just wanted to send a friendly hello your way. I hope all is well and that you are having a well rested summer. My education is progressing nicely, as I anticipate I should be completed with my doctorate by June 2017. I have officially applied for the admin. credential program and should be done by June 2017 as well. I ended up not accepting the behavior specialist position at Desert Sands Unified. It was a difficult decision due to the fact I really liked all the team members however, I need to be a bit closer to home right now. I am hopeful a perfect position will open up in the future. This past year I presented at a research symposium, thereby providing an opportunity to discuss my developing research with other
professionals within the field. In addition, I have been asked to be participate as a panel member, discussing neuroscience in terms of leadership, decision-making processes, and ethical behavior. This year I have expanded my research interest to include special education service delivery models and how they influence post-seconday outcomes. To say the least...it has been a very informative year. I want to extend an additional thank you, as you played a key role in my ability and determination to pursue a doctorate degree. Best Regards, Emily
“I would like to thank everyone involved in this conference, and the organizers in particular, for inviting me to deliver this talk. I am very obviously an outsider and wish to come to this group to talk about something that is central to all work that you people are doing.”
What three-digit number has the most impact on your financial life? If you said your credit score you are correct. My parents always stressed the importance of credit from an early age. After I turned 18, I applied for a secure credit card from Wells Fargo, which I will be discussing more in detail in a few minutes. In this speech, I will be discussing what credit is, one way you can build credit, and the touch upon the importance of having credit.
I consider myself a driven, honest, hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated individual. I love to learn, to work, to improve, and most of all to help others. My life goal is to positively impact the lives of others and furthermore the community. While I can not predict how exactly I will do this I start by treating others well, helping out where help is needed, and dedicating myself to my education where I will expand my knowledge and acquire new skills.
Imagine living during the 1960’s when the nation was divided by segregation. The only way to express your ideas, beliefs, and thoughts during that time was through words. Famous Civil Rights activists such as, Dr.Martin Luther King Jr., inspired many with his wise words and empowering speeches. Times when many felt unheard or invisible, words were there as tranquilness and an ataraxia. Words have the power to provoke, calm, or inspire by motivating others to take action in what they believe in.
I hope that you can see my education and future are advancing as we speak. This doesn’t mean I haven’t had a few bumps in the road, because I have. Actually, some of the bumps have unfortunately been financial aid. But, I am growing. It is a day to day continual experience of growth and it’s exciting for me to see where it takes me. Again, thank you for this opportunity and all the work you do as an organization.
The Soviet Union sent the first satellite in orbit in 1957, to start the marathon of deceptions to be the first country to the moon. The Soviets had a serious head start, sending a dog, Laika, into space, becoming the first country to send a living being into space. The U.S. had some serious catching up to do, and we did not want to be second to the Soviets in anything. Because of the dangerous drive that the U.S. imputed into the quest for domination in space, we were able to top the Soviets, and prove our power once again. Although we ended up victorious in the space race, the country needed to be convinced to join the competition. President Kennedy delivered a riveting speech to Rice university, thoroughly convincing the country of the importance of space exploration. He used many good arguments, and tugged on emotional and ethical heartstrings. His arguments were accurate,
Throughout the nation catastrophes occur on a daily basis; however there are a few catastrophes that have taken national precedence and left a traumatized nation. Most usually these catastrophes are an act of terrorism. Michael Nelson (2010) describes the nature of such terrorism catastrophes as disconcerting, unanticipated and that unnerve “the country’s sense of safety and identity” (p. 20). When such “a traumatic event results in the death of civilians” and “calls the nation’s institutions or values into question” the nation as a whole looks to their leader, our president, to offer solace and calm through a responsive speech (Campbell and Jamieson, 2008, p. 102). In Presidents Creating the Presidency, (2008) the authors have labeled these speeches as a national eulogy in which they usually occur at the sight of the
I snatch a few moments this morning to write, and first of all will express my gratitude for your interesting & thrice welcome letter. I am very glad that you have made our Fairfield friends such a good visit. O! that I could have been with you, but I suppose you thought of your absent Sister. Sometimes, as I allow my thoughts to wander homeward, I sigh to be with loved ones again. The affections of my heart for my dear friends are so strong that it is exceedingly difficult to discipline myself to a separation even for a little time.

I want to let you know how “ I “ feel the GCU nursing program in Albuquerque is running and what I have heard from upper level students and students in my current cohert are feeling.
