Located in northern India, Delhi is an ever fascinating metropolitan that would never cease to amaze you with its magnificent monuments and a vibrant culture. Delhi has always been a tourism hub as it offers you a complete package of almost everything you look for in a getaway destination for your summer vacations or practically any other time of the year.
Also, you can jump generations while travelling in Delhi as it takes you from the mosques and quilas of the Mughal period to the lit night life of the Hauz Khas village with the blink of an eye and of course a few stations in the Delhi Metro After all you can always be up for some forwards …show more content…

As mentioned earlier, it is always better to do this area wise.
I would suggest you to start with Old Delhi and visit the monuments first. This gives you a bit of ancient vibes and insights into the magnificent history of India and Delhi specifically. Go to Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat. Also, it becomes hectic to be at these locations in the later half of the day since one is already tired and looks for food and chilling at that time.
When it comes to food, my personal favorites would be ‘Dilli ki Chaat'. For that either go to Chandni Chowk or Chawri Bazaar. Also, falooda kulfi joints in Delhi are one of my forever go-to places. Best ones are in Sitaram Bazaar, Chandni Chowk . Don’t forget to try their other kulfi options while you can.
Coming to New Delhi, begin with the Humayun's tomb, Gandhi Samadhi and later India Gate, as this one place looks too beautiful to be missed out during the evening time. And the chuski there is amazingly delicious!

Delhi, as everyone knows, suffers extremes of weather conditions. Both peak summers and peak winters are unbearable. The best time period to visit Delhi would be October- March, this is when the autumn season takes over, at this time everything is more than just pleasant. With winters on their way, the mornings and evenings could be particularly cold. And Diwali is also somewhere round the corner which just as adds to the beauty of the city at this time. Summing up, Delhi is one helluva experience in itself. And trust me, even after being to this city so many , I can never get enough of it. It’s colors, it’s beauty, it’s history and serenity all packed together for you to make memories every time you visit Delhi.
It’s for you fall in love with, maybe not at the first site because the chaos and crowd might baffle you up at the first glance, but slowly and gradually, as you get to know the beauty behind everything that makes Delhi what it is today.
