I started as a normal 9th grade student who hated researching. Then I finished this gigantic research paper that took about a week to complete, and I still dislike it. Although I will admit I learned a lot.I learned a lot about how to word specific terms to get the answers you want while researching. When using google, if you word something the wrong way, such as saying “music connecting the brain” you might get a link talking about putting an AUX cord from your phone into your brain and literally connecting the two. If you reworded a little and said “ music’s affects on the brain” you’ll get the info you were trying to get in the first place. On how music sends signals to the brain. Along with helping you focus it can affect the way to take a test. A study I found in my research proved that listening to Mozart before an exam can help your grade on that test. When 30 college students listened to Mozart before an exam 21 out of the 30 responded with above their average test scores.
Unlike others, I’ve also realized that I like to get my work done at least a day before it’s due so I’m not cramming and rushing the night before to finish it. Because then it’s not my best quality. Even if I can’t focus in class and I don’t get much done, and it’s not due for two more days, that night I will finish it to make up for not getting enough done in class. Consequently, last year I had to learn the hard way to plan my time more efficiently because I would always be cramming the night before and my grades would slip.
From the databases on like to websites, I found they were both useful. Although in the beginning I felt more confident in the databases, being that it was a published book that I used. I made sure that any websites I used had legibility. In reflection of the author. This made it easier for me to trust all of the sources I had
