How did 9/11 change American history? The attacks of September eleventh changed our culture. Not only did it change our culture, but it changed our security. If the attacks had not happened, we would not have troops stationed in the Middle East. The attacks of September eleventh changed the history of our country.
The attacks on the World Trade Center changed American culture. The attacks of 9/11 caused American people to bond together in a time of need. People all over the country flocked to churches to pray for safety during this dark time. Racism soon became a major factor. Any Muslim person, citizen or not, was viewed as a terrorist. American culture was greatly changed by the attacks 9/11.

Two of the airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center. One plane hitting the North Tower and the other hitting the South Tower. The third plane had crashed into the Pentagon taking out the western side of the building. The last and final plane was focused solely on taking out the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. but failed due to passengers of the plane coming hijacking it from the hijackers. The passengers attempted to take out the hijackers but sadly failed, crashing it into a field in Pennsylvania.
