Almost everyone in the United States will use some form of technology during his or her life. Have you ever thought about how technology is used by those across the globe? Is technology as advanced in other countries as it is in the United States? How does globalization and technology go together? Globalization is defined as the process of integration across world-space arising from the interchange of worldviews, products, ideas, and other aspects of culture. Technology allows people from all lifestyles and from all around the world to be able to communicate with one another within seconds, instead of having to wait up to a couple of months for a letter to travel around the world to the other person and back. Globalization is the process of people of different cultures or countries integrating through interacting through trade or the use of social media. In “Point: Globalization Provides a Better Life for All” By Jennifer Graham, she provides a valid point of view of how globalization has benefited society. “Globalization enriches the human experience through increased cultural and economic integration, which promotes diversity by opening society to new technology, communication and ideas...Moreover, globalization helps to break down discrimination against people on the basis of religious beliefs or race” (Para, 11,13). Globalization has an impact on my lifestyle because I am currently surrounded by technology and different cultural food. With globalization I have access to different foods that I would normally never get to try, also technology has allowed me to gain knowledge about different culture I would normally not know. This results in me being more informed and benefited about the world as a whole because of globalization bringing the different culture of the world so much closer

Whenever you see new technology being created and the products being upgraded or advancing it affects the lives of many whether it is good or bad. As technology advances the world goes from taken years to travel around the world to seeing everything you need to see and basically traveling the world in days or even hours if you really look at it. Technology has changed everything around the world some have helped society scenes also hurt others. Some say that globalization has major advantages, but also has the same amount of flaws. Technological innovation went hand in hand from the ancient times to the 21st century and brought about many controversies, innovation, knowledge, and downfalls.
