Who does not want to study abroad? Almost everyone if asked such questions will be answered the same answer: Yes, I want! Especially if you have been accepted at the foreign college of your dreams, you cannot wait to get started. You have to get ready for a new life in a country where you're going. All documents must be ready before you leave. These includes: your travel documents, a visa, a passport, TOEFL/IELTS documents, travel papers, medical records, personal identification, birth certificate, high school graduation certificate, an airplane ticket, health and accident insurance, and other requirements paper. Talking about visa and passport, it is good if you prepare it ahead of time because getting them can take from 6 to 12 months. Today many people have a very fixed view about others in different countries, and what the locals from those countries think about Americans. America was formed so people from other cultures could come and make a life for themselves, and so they could come and enjoy the traditions and ways of America. If people could stop and think about all the good things that other countries have to offer instead of all the bad that the media shows, they could learn to appreciate those countries better. People need to be more open minded about going to other countries because without travel there would be no way of learning about other cultures.

Studying abroad is a dream for many people especially, who live in a country that has lacks education. It is possible that a dream realized for those who they want. However, it has many consequences, causing lack of livelihood to adapt to the different languages and cultures. Eva Hoffman, author of “Lost in Translation” wrote about her experience when she moved from Poland to Canada as a teenager. She felt as a “felt persona” when she merged with Canadians with different culture and language. Also, she felt as a woman who has two different figures, causing a lack of acclimatization. I began my cultural excursion on March 23rd, 2016 as hospital volunteer at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Going after the idea of living outside of my normal lifestyle was scary, yet exciting and I truly learned more about myself and the healthcare world. My dominant culture revolves around working out five days a week, consuming healthy meals and living an active lifestyle. I am constantly trying to find ways to keep my mind, body and spirit healthy, all the while maintaining a positive mentality. Although, sometimes it is not easy, I am truly invested in my fitness level and my dedication towards my culture. The cardio, low-fat drinks and water detoxes are all worthwhile to me, because they provide me with an indescribable feeling.
As a country, it feels as if the USA is too young to even begin to comprehend world culture. By studying abroad, it is my hope that I can begin expanding my understanding of the world. I also wish to learn about my home country in a new light. I await making new friends, and I expect that studying abroad will open my mind and deepen my longing to learn about other cultures. This experience is one that will lessen my narrow-minded cynicism.
In addition to spending more on the actual education and university fees, the international students also have to spend on boarding and food. Finding a place to stay that is conveniently near to the university and other places of interaction, is affordable, accepts immigrants, and suits the basic requirements - is hard, sometimes impossible. A compromise on at least one criterion of the above is required to sustain in the new country.
Outward Bound is an adventure based learning organisation that faces unique challenges within its internal and external environment. Since it was founded in 1962 Outward Bound has educated over 52,000 students at its Anakiwa based campus, which is designed to challenge students in order to reach their full potential. While Outward Bound is a strong business organization it still faces challenges that could impact the company not only currently but also in the future. Within the general environment the organization faces sociocultural challenges. Furthermore the task environment faces customer challenges as well as corporate culture challenges within the internal environment Outward Bound faces unique challenges in its general environment
I have been on two mission trips and both of them have left me with a feeling of urgency and a realization that so much more needs to be done in resepct to the Gospel being lived out and shared. It is also enlightening to see the difference in how my everyday life compares with other peoples' normal routine. They have so much less and yet they still have joy, they have been throug hso mcuh worse and yet they smile. The kids I have met are so strong and the people who work there are so compassioante. I'm glad you were able to go. I had heard about Mrs. Sturely and I am so sorry that she continues to struggle with this affliction. I am praying for her and your family.
So, with that in mind, find a compelling reason to make your learning journey in a foreign country worthwhile.
Supplies: First aid supplies are a must. Additionally, you’ll want to bring along any spare parts and survival gear incase an emergency happens. Water, food, motor oil and extra gas are all items that should be brought along during your trip.
International students face many different challenges when studying abroad. This is due to many factors. First they are living in a country very far away from their own. The country they are studying in also has a very different way of life than theirs. Also the laws in foreign country are much different than the laws in their own country. Due to that they face a lot of problems trying to adapt to this new culture. Me personally as an international student in the US studying in ASU have faced three particularly difficult challenges that I was able to overcome through time. Going to college is a big change in your life because it usually means living on your own for the first time, but as a foreign student it is even a bigger change because you are on your own in another country. This is often the greatest concern for students to go abroad: to leave everything behind. They have trouble leaving their family and the familiar environment. They think this price is just too high. But if they only knew how rich they will be when they come back.
There is nothing quite like traveling, going someplace new and finding out more about the world and yourself. Anyone can become a traveler it just takes a little bit of faith and courage. Traveling across the world or even across the country is a learning experience. When you are a traveler you see how people live and how different cultures work. It is the best educational experience you could give yourself. You see how the world works in a way no one can teach you. Seeing different cultures and people help build the person you want to be. If you are a traveler the world influences you, because when traveling, you see the good and the bad, and you learn from the right and the wrong.
