Keeping things in place will get rid of clutter and things that you do not need. A well-organized individual should always know where to find things, have a filing system in place, keep the work area neat and tidy, and get rid of unnecessary things that take up space. If you de-clutter your area, you will find that you are more organized and know where things are stored when you need it. A good way of getting organized is, therefore, to keep things in place and de-clutter your area. You will find that by doing this you will feel more organized and goal
For example, organizing my calendar where I have the time blocked out when I am in class, driving, the hours I will be studying, the time that I will spend getting Avery ready for bed and her school work done, etc. by having this all planned out in such detail maybe this will help me stay on track for efficient time management. Also, logging my time and keeping track of where I spend my time can also help me see where I can spend more time doing something more productive. (Chapman,2008) Setting priorities and learning to focus not only what is urgent and important but also activities that are important but might not be urgent, like Avery’s gymnastics or her 4H club meetings. Making a “to do list” would be helpful in helping me remember what needs to be done and what I would like to get done and finding time in my organized calendar to do so. (Chapman, 2008) Also, I should try to avoid multi- tasking, I am a mother which means I am a great multi tasker, I can cook dinner, do laundry, and give a bath all at the same time, although sometime the dinner gets a little burnt. But according to Chapman, multi-tasking is actually not a time saver but rather you lose time when you switch to different tasks. Trying to stick to one task at a time may be helpful in learning more effective time management skills. All of

... everything, and write down important events. Also from personal experience DO NOT procrastinates. Be interdependent rather than rely on just you or everyone else find a balance between the two. I think the most important thing to do is believe in you. You cannot reach your goals without this key factor. Also use a calendar, next actions list and tracking form. These help so much I know from personal experience throughout this year. This cuts down on stress and helps you keep organized and on track to the goals you have.
On any given day, my time regardless of how planned it is by making lists can be thrown off track due to usually a sick child/pet. No matter how hard I try, I know my kids will get sick and they will expect me to take care of. Since I cannot usually control when that will happen, it’s important that I take advantage of what I can control, such looking ahead at assignments that will need my attention to plan adequate time to complete assignments a head of time, instead of waiting till the last minute. When I know what to expect I can make plans. Another
Looking at my own approach to time management I have noticed that I am well organised and good at prioritising tasks and jobs. When I log onto my computer to start my shift I am sent down numerous jobs, each job is different and has different deadlines for attendance and completion. I plan my day based around the date and time deadlines of the jobs and also the locations of the jobs. I then schedule the most effective order of completing the jobs, putting high priority jobs at the top of my list and grouping sites that are geographically close to each other. By effectively planning my day I keep a focused attitude towards my work and I have time to think about tasks and situations, rather tha...
In today's fast paced world often times we don’t realize how we go through life at full speed never slowing down to just stop and take a breath. Always trying to get to the next appointment, teachers meeting, and get togethers with friends and family; time is fleeting. For the people out there that have no problem with organizing their life I applaud you. Being able to manage everything without missing a beat is something I wish I was accomplished at. But my outside obligations to work, and family are constantly getting in the way of my schooling.
As Schermerhorn states in Management planning, organizing, leading, and controlling are the tools needed by managers to accomplish performance goals. It is crucial that managers be able to recognize and act upon problems or opportunities as they arise. Planning is perhaps the cornerstone of the four processes. All good processes were at some point given great detail so as to anticipate possible problems and solutions to those problems. When the Honda Motor Company decided it needed to refine its inventory they didn't just jump at the first idea that was proposed; they first set their objectives and discussed ways to meet those objectives. After giving careful consideration to processes and the streamlining of those processes human error rose as the top need for change. Sounds simple you might respond; in reality it is much more complicated.
Planning and organizing is another vital quality needed for managers. If manager can do effective planning he can really contribute in the long term progress and development of his organization. Proper planning helps in useful and efficient use of the existing resources of the organization. After planning if you are not able to organize the things, this can really worsen your planning.
Over the years many civilizations have created ways to tell the passage of time and days. Civilizations have and always rely on something to conclude time. With the creation of calendars many ancient civilizations were able to tell time. For some people the calendars were what got them the good things. Calendars made a big difference in the way that people worked and did their usual things.
Use a calendar or planner to keep track of upcoming events, appointments, and due dates. In order to stay on track, check your planner or calendar daily and write down additional information immediately so you do not forget it.

Being prepared is a key step in being able to manage time. There are a lot of things that go with being prepared. First, you have to have an idea of what you want to do. Knowing what you are getting into helps a lot because you will be able to focus on specific points that will ensure that you are headed in the right direction of achieving your goal. This sounds pretty easy, but it is a task that a lot of people overlook. You may need material to ensure that you can do your task at hand, so knowing exactly what is going on will definitely help. Getting yourself in a proper place to be able to concentrate and execute what you have in mind is also a very important step. Not having a million and one distraction will allow you to focus and get everything done in a time...
When I don’t by place handouts inside my binder once I receive these from my teacher(s); I tend to be careless and have this ideology that I can do this anytime. But once I get filled with workloads of assignments, it prevents me from having the time to organize my folders. Another reason why my binder is messy is because I keep sheets from previous years and once I place them with notes/tests/assignments from the current year; it makes it difficult to locate crucial papers that I currently need. My advice that I am going to give myself to improve on my organization
In order to achieve the goals of the organisation, managers have to set goals and developed a workable plan to complete the goals. Organising is one of the processes to organise people, activities and other resource in a logical way (Davidson 2009). Through the organising
