Wagga Wagga is the largest inland city of New South Wales which is situated on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. It is in the centre of the Riverina region and it is located in the middle between two largest cities, Sydney in the north east and Melbourne in the south west.

According to Australia census, Wagga Wagga is a diverse city with a large number of cultural groups and ethnicity that exist there. The population of Wagga Wagga has an estimate about 64,000 people. It is considered one of the fastest growing cities in Australia that based on Australia census research it will reach 65,410 by June 2018. The city has five languages spoken there other than English which are: Hindi, Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese and Italian. The religious percentage in Wagga Wagga area is: 20.6% Anglican, 1.3% Christian, 17.1% No religion, 1.3% Islam, 34.3% Catholic.
The name of Wagga Wagga is received from aboriginal people dialect which means the place of many crows as well as the Murrumbidgee River derived its name from this dialect which means big river.

The city provides cultural heritage of amazing attractions that visitors can go to visit galleries, museums and other important buildings. Such as, Wagga Wagga Art Gallery which is situated in the centre of Wagga Wagga and it is consists of many specious exhibitions. Moreover, Temora Aviation Museum tells the story of its history and it has a collection of Australian military aircraft. It offers aircraft showcase where visitors can enjoy the view.
