Recommended: Why goal setting is important
Personally, I have a ton of long term goals. If I had to narrow it down to five goals, my goals would be: to start a business or two within the equine industry, to have gotten a good ribbon at Louisville or Oklahoma, to have finished college within three to four years with double major and two minors, to be financially stable, and the most important is wanting to be happy with my life and myself as an individual.
Each individual goal is important to me for different reasons. Owning a business or two within the equine industry has been something this at I have dreamed about since I was three years old. The businesses that I'd love to start would be a rescue, which would have a major focus on equine but I would love to include a kennel and sanctuary for cats as well. The other business that would be phenomenal to get the opportunity to run and start one day would be a show barn for American Saddlebreds, Morgans, Hackney Ponies and Horses, and Dutch Harness Horses. The reason owning a business is so important to me is because it would offer stability and it would allow me to work in an environment that was run precisely how I would want my animals treated and taken care of.

For around seven to ten years of my riding experience I'd been self-taught with supervision from an adult or a friend and it would just mean a lot to me as a self confidence booster and a verification that I have actually improved over years and years of hard work. Within the equine industry, everyone knows the struggle of money, especially grooms and trainers it is important to me to be financially stable and take the stress away of not having enough to maintain a healthy and happy

The book Fifth Business by Robertson Davies is written from the point of view of the narrator; a man named Dunstable Ramsay. From the readers’ perspective, we see him to be the main character, but as the novel progresses, he and those he encounters start to see him as fifth business. The novel shows and follows Dunstan Ramsay in his pursuit for self-knowledge, and ultimately fulfilling his role as ‘Fifth Business’ in the eyes of a number of people. It is evident that throughout the novel, he reminds himself and the reader that in fact his life and the lives of those who are close to him do not necessarily revolve around him however he still plays a large part in influencing their respective lives. The novel constantly shows instances where guilt and competition play roles in shaping character’s decisions.
My short-term goals will be completed throughout High School. I am taking a lot of Mathematical classes in High School, this year I am taking Statistics and Business Math. Next year I will either take Calculus or Precalculus. I like taking math courses because there is a lot of math in anyone's life time. Also my career choices require a lot of math, most classes they like to see I have already taken. I plan to get high grades in all of my classes so Colleges will take me seriously. One of my favorite classes is Statistics and I have a decent grade in it too. My activities at school include being in the Woodshop Club. It is very enjoyable for me and I hope to do more in woodworking as I grow older as a hobby. Activities outside of school include mainly Boy Scouts and work. Life has no meaning without goals. In order to succeed setting goal is very important. Without setting goals there would be nothing to look forward to, or even have anything to achieve. Goals are a vital aspect of our lives. It gives a sense of self-confidence. I believe without goals life would just be a plain and no excitement at all. Long-term and short-term goals are intertwined and work similarly to build a house from ground up. I vision myself become a radiologist within the next three to five years. This is my present long-term goal. To achieve my long term goal I have two short term goals, first to get good grades in prerequisites courses and second to complete my grad school program with "A" grade minimum, because graduating with good grades is the stepping stone for my long-term goal.
First off, I want to graduate from college and do it well. I want to be able to do things on the weekends and not worry about having to make things up or anything like that. I am hoping for a scholarship in football, in my opinion that would be a great start for me in college. Then after college maybe pursue that as a career. If that doesn't work out for me then I want to look into athletic training or physical therapy. If those things don't interest me or I don't get into it I am then looking into law. That will take much more time and patience, but it's gonna be the rest of my life.
The Main Objective for a Business Profit can be described as whatever is left from revenue after costs have been deducted. But is this the main target for every business? All business have objectives (goals which are set out by the people who lead or control the organisations), whether they are big or small and whether they are in the primary or public sector. The performance of a business could be judged on how effectively it achieves its objectives.
The third component in strategic planning is defining how to accomplish the mission and vision and to correct any critical areas found during the examination of the organization. This is done by setting long term and short term goals related to each objective for continuous development. Setting goals focus on “…improving the overall organizational competitiveness, effectiveness, and growth” (Godiwalla, 2016, p. 11). Goals are extremely imperative because they offer a foundation for development and organizational guidelines for policymaking and justification for the actions that take place in an organization. The process of setting goals is well-organized, and should be defined for different groups of stakeholders. Goals should be realistic
By setting a time limit on my short-term goals, I can look back to see how much progress I have made. My career goal would be to become a Healthcare Administrator. I plan to graduate from Kaplan University with a Bachelors in Applied Science. This career goal is important because it will help me come closer to my goals.
My long-term personal goal is to be at a place where I am genuinely happy with myself and my life and not allowing others and their opinions on me or what I have done or am doing in life to
