Depicting the story of a military commander leading the country at war against the American troops despite of all the hindrances and circumstances, it has not forgotten itself to prove everyone else that a part of history could become a remarkable movie after all. Being considered as one of the top highest grossing films in the Philippines, the film has proven itself not only here in the country but worldwide as well. Whereas effort and hard work could be seen just by the output of the movie itself. The production and editing could take numerous months for it to be accomplished. And in the film Heneral Luna, everything was evident. All their hard work was paid off. Looking just from the costumes of the cast, one can see every detailed designs that should be included to be historically accurate. Yes, historically accurate wherein costumes of the military troops contains badges and more details showing the time frame when the history itself happened. The costume was able to allow the movie to flow in one direction wherein further researched was done to properly execute an outfit that fits the movie and the period. The different locations in the movie allow it to influence the other elements of the film. It is compatible with the mood and the scene that showed completeness and formality in the movie. There were elements in the film that were edited and changed for its authenticity and accuracy to the history. In fact, there has been computer generated graphics used in the movie, however it was not obvious since it looked realistic and fit to the other parts of the movie such as the American ships and roofs.
