Fast Food Have you ever wanted to eat great food like what you would get at any "fancy shmancy" downtown restaurant, but just didn't feel like getting all dressed up? Or do you have elderly family members who aren't able to prepare nourishing meals for themselves? Or sometimes do you just want to sit around the house and watch a movie while enjoying an expertly prepared meal with out having to wash a single dish! These are the questions we asked thousands of people nationwide and an astounding 88% of them said "Yes", and we are here to appease them all with the opening of our "Fast Food" chain. Our proposed solution is a simple, yet effective one. Our business appropriately dubbed "Fast Food" will revolutionize the food delivery industry, and here's how it works. First, the customer calls our 1-800 number, and is automatically routed to the appropriate local dispatch center. Once connected, their credit card information is taken, and they place an order with a live waiter/operator or "operwaiter", as we like to call them. Selections may be made from the full menu of any one of the many fine establishments that participate in our program (i.e. Applebee's, T.G.I. Friday's, El Mariachi, Maisonette, Uno's, Hooter's, Longhorn Steak House, Chili's, Red Lobster, just to name a few). Then, moments after the call is completed, the dispatch center relays the message to the appropriate restaurant. Within fifty minutes, the meal is delivered by one of our fast, friendly, and courteous drivers. We will go to great lengths, and take great pride in knowing that our meals arrive to the customer fresh, hot, complete, and with any and every necessary condiment or utensil, just like if you were to eat at the restaurant. All without the pain of making reservations, waiting in line or leaving the comfort of your own home. And the best part is that you don't have to tip the waiter. Since we will be dealing exclusively with top-notch restaurants, which we will be dealing with on a daily basis, we get volume discounts. These discounts are what enable us to keep our prices low, charging you only the prices listed on the menu plus a nominal delivery service charge based on the amount of food ordered. (See chart below for delivery charges) If you think about it, this is actually cheaper than if you were to go to the restaurant yourself.
They have promotional activities to increase how many people come to the restaurant and how many people will come again
After a long day in school and studying, every student needs a night off to just relax and enjoy a meal at a restaurant. In this modern time, some aspects of a restaurant can be the deciding choice. Many choose their restaurant of choice based on either those they are with, their personal, cultural appetite, their routine eating habits or their mood. Some of these preferences are similar yet others are the deciding differences. Two common franchise restaurants that pose differences are Applebee’s and Olive Garden. These two restaurants present their differences in environmental and food options causing a choice between them.
Subway has added an avocado topping option to their sandwiches. (“It 's Avocado Season”, 2014) McDonalds added Angus beef burgers all in an effort to win back those they lost to Fast Casual, yet they dropped the promotion because of the high price of beef and the unlikelihood of customers choosing an expensive burger over the dollar menu items. (“McDonald 's Cuts Angus Burgers from Menu”, 2013) Arby’s is offering a deli-style substitute in their Market Fresh Menu offerings. (“Arby’s: Market Fresh”, 2014) In order to compete with these QSRs, Fast Casual restaurants have begun to add online ordering options and drive through such as Which Wich in Marble Falls Texas. wonderful quick meal right in front of you. They show you hands on how to prepare and cook
Many of the customers are regulars who have been coming to the restaurant ever since it first opened, which is why the owners make it a priority to provide a consistent menu with the customer’s favorite entrees. The restaurant strictly serves dinner options, as it opens its doors at 4pm. The menu consists of seafood, pasta, steak, and sandwiches, as well as a daily entrée and soup specials, allowing every customer to find something that appeals to them on the menu. Although the menu features a wide variety of food, many of the options, especially the seafood, can be quite pricey for many customers. This results in many customers only being able to come in for special occasions, as the food is too expensive to pay for on a regular basis. Some of the restaurants most popular items, such as the prime rib, are only available on the weekend, resulting in customers who come into the restaurant specifically for thos...
The term “fast-food” is usually distinguished by food served very quickly to a customer by drive-through or carry-out. Fast-food restaurants are highly associated with low-cost and malnutrition foods with brief consumer and employee interaction, and below average cleanliness based on restaurant health inspection reports. Chick-fil-A has changed the usual perception of fast-food restaurants. Rather than burgers and potato fries, Chick-fil-A serves chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Chick-fil-A also shows their appreciation for employee to customer relations, rather than ignoring the social aspect of serving customers when operating at a fast pace. Chick-fil-A’s menu selection, customer interaction, and clean eating
Over the last three decades, fast food has infiltrated every nook and cranny of American society and has become nothing less than a revolutionary force in American life. Fast food has gained a great popularity among different age groups in different parts of the globe, becoming a favorite delicacy of both adults and children.
Value meals vs. Regular menu We are all a part of highly evolved society where food is now apart of everything. Food & restaurants are involved in everything in our lives in any case. It is all about the problems with scarcity and the way we allocate the resources and the way we utilize things in order to optimize the returns. The aim is profit maximization and cost minimization. The customer is probably the most complicated piece of the puzzle in the world of restaurants and fast foods. They want preferential treatment and when they do not get the human element in the deal they simply walk out. But the reaction of the customer depends on the type and the nature of the product itself. As times are changing, people are work day and night to earn a decent living, and when they spent money they want the objects bought worth the cost. Value meal from a consumer’s perspective is very important, the reason being he is spending little money for a lot of stuff. It is human nature to be greedy, and if person is getting a Value meal that has several items in it for just $5 then why in the world would he ever want to spend $5 on a regular menu that just serves burgers and fries. Although this may sound as a joke but if America built lots of McDonalds and Burger Kings in enemy territories it would eradicate the need for atomic bombs, the reason; the obese population would soon self destruct. However the only problem is that America itself is becoming her own enemy with obesity reaching epidemic proportions. According to a recent observation, more and more Americans are becoming super sized with around 60% of them are adults, 14% of them are teens while the rest 13% are 6- to 11-year olds. This obesity that is growing is the real reason why...
One thing almost any American can relate to is fast food. Statistics show that every day, 1 in 4 people eat fast food. Also, over the past thirty years, the prevalence of obesity and obesity-related diseases in the U.S. has risen sharply. Some consider that doing taxes is easier than eating healthy. Why is that? Has fast food taken over the health of America? Is the convenience of a McDonald’s restaurant on practically every street to blame? U.S. citizens should recognize what they are feeding themselves is hardly nutritious.
Recently, in Las Vegas a customer at the Heart Attack Grill suffered from an abrupt heart attack while eating a 6,000 calorie “Triple Bypass Burger”. In the restaurant the staff are portrayed as doctors and nurses. The owner, Jon Basso, claims that no one should tell them how to eat especially government organizations("Heart Attack Grill Owner Defends His Restaurant"). However, incidents like these should help us become aware of the serious consequences that result from these choices. The issue of whether we should allow an outside source to regulate, or influence personal dietary choices has been a debatable topic through the world recently. It is an important issue because it concerns the fundamentals of moral and economic questions about the way the government has informed and protected the people. A variety of different arguments have been put forward about this issue. The fast food industry, since its inception in the 1950s has grown to be a powerful and at times unregulated entity; subsequently, its low priced food items that appeal to most Americans is the reason that it is causing medical issues and rising obesity rates.

The researchers concluded that the Chefoo’s service environment has negative effects towards customers’ experience. Based on the results, the researchers suggests modernizing the servicescape of the restaurant in order to retain existing and attract new customers. Customer experience does not only lie to enjoyable food and affordable prices but it should also consider a pleasant dining experience. Service environment does negatively affect the experience of customers. The null hypothesis is accepted.
Typically the fast food industry is associated with urban development, franchised operations which become chain restaurants across the globe that offer standardized meals, so that consumers can enjoy their favorite meals anywhere (Borade, G. (2012). Tracy V. Wilson states that McDonald’s was the first fast food restaurant to utilize a speedy assembly-line system to prepare food when the McDonald brothers opened up a redesigned restaurant in 1948, in which other chains followed a couple years after in the 1950’s (Wilson, n.d.). The speedy delivery made McDonald’s the largest fast-food chain restaurant in the world
“We place the customer experience at the core of all we do. Our customers are the reason for our existence. We demonstrate our appreciation by providing them with high quality food and superior service in a clean, welcoming environment, at a great value. Our goal is quality, service, cleanliness and value (QSC&V) for each and every customer, each and every time.”
As Americans, we’re always on the go. When hungry and have no time there are many fast and healthy items available. Many people who say that fast food chains is the main cause of obesity in America because there are plenty of fast food restaurants on every block with very few healthy options ("Do Fast Food Restaurants Contribute to Obesity?"). Fast food business are very easy to find and offer quick service, but there are other options that are healthy, especially in urban areas. Restaurants such as Panera offer a range of items that are healthy and offer a quick service for those on a schedule. In addition to these healthier options, it is also possible to pack their own snack or meal. People often become lazy when it comes to just cooking their meals at home. This choice allows the customer, to control what they eat.
