Freedom of expression, the understanding of learning other’s discussion and emotions, along with a world full of voices is what brings everyone together. With every war, protest, and period of time there was always one goal to achieve and it was freedom. It’s what makes our world go round, what gives hope and what we have without even realizing it. Many generations have passed and all have gone through the same thing again and again with that word. It’s seen all around our society and is taught in everything we learn. Although we use expression for emotions and for voicing our opinion, it can also be used for many other topics and situations. A research report on freedom of expression states “The First Amendment to the U.S. constitution guarantees the right to free speech, and numerous court rulings have set legal precedents in interpreting that provision. (Cyberspace Pg 18)” Adding this sentence from the research paper gives incite to the first amendment and its way of explaining the freedom of expression. It is used for freedom of speech but can also be used to express the opinions and ideas you have about your religion. Another example is from the research report Religious Freedom, Sacred Sites and Human Rights in the United States by Kristen A. Carpenter, which states, “The concept and practice of religious freedom is generally cherished in U.S. society”(Carpenter Pg 65). With this sentence it shows that the expression and practice of someone's religion is necessary and is part of freedom. Both examples give the insight of how it's very important to use the rights given, to embrace what many believe in and have fought for so long. In the “Declaration of Independence” author Thomas Jefferson uses various amount of rhetorical devices such as Logos and Pathos. He is writing this document to tell King George III that America is no longer going to be under the rule of England, that they are going to be their own country and own democracy. Jefferson uses both Logos and Pathos to express his reasoning and feelings in hope that the King will agree.

The first step to the foundation of a new government is the uniting of a people in a common goal. Since all people were feeling violated by English soldiers, it was necessary to state these grievances in order to make people aware that they are not alone. When people learned that others felt the same as them emotion was stirred. The Declaration of Independence listed the grievances such as, “He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.” The next important step to the foundation of a new government was to gain peoples ambition by showing how the government would be run if a new party took over. This goal was achieved by stating the rights of man. “We hold these truths to be self evident: That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” This statement made people hopeful and feel kindly toward this new government. The final step in the preparation for a new government was separation from the old government. This was declared twice in the Declaration of Independence. In the beginning, “That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, driving their just powers from the consent of the governed,” and in the end, “that these united colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent states; that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British crown, and that all political connection between them and the state of Great Britain is, and ought to be, totally dissolved. In conclusion, the Declaration of Independence was able to motivate people, give them ambition, and made it simple for Americans to take action.

The typical family extinction Introduction: In the book Brave New World, Aldous Huxley describes the life in a dystopian futuristic society in which poverty, hunger, war and diseases exist. A lot of important aspects in the actual society (like family life, marriage, art, literature, religion, etc.) have been removed in order to make this possible. In the family and marriage side, the book says that families make people weaker because they have emotional relationships that makes them be instable and commitment is seen as bad (promiscuity is what’s good in the World State). Huxley implies that the lack of families in the World State is actually a regression rather than a progression.
Freedom of speech has many positive things, one of which is the help it gives on decision-making. Thanks to freedom of speech it is possible to express personal ideas without fear or restraints; therefore, all the perspectives and options will be on the table, giving people more opportunities to choose from. Nevertheless, everything in life has a limit, and the limit of freedom of speech depends directly on the consideration of the rights of others. People is free of believing what they want, thinking what they want, and even saying what they want, everything as long as they do not intrude or violate anyone else's rights. Under certain circumstances freedom of speech should be limited, and this is more than just a political action, this acts represent the urge for tolerance and the need for respect.
