Life is all about experiencing new thing and learning new information along the way. Prior to walking into the class for the first time I was nervous because I did not know what to expect. I knew that it would branch off of the English 101 class that I took the semester before, but I still did not know what to expect. As soon as the class started on the first day I knew that I would enjoy my time. Starting everyday off with a random question allowed me to think very hard about something so simple. While writing for four minutes I would always overthink because I did not want anyone to judge me for what I wrote. I quickly got over that fear after realizing that others thoughts were stranger than the words that I had written down on my paper. If I were to write another exploratory report in the future I would steer away from anything in the medical field at the beginning. Researching medically related topics frustrated me the most because there were so many grey areas. I could not find a direct answer to any of my questions and I wish I would have chosen an easier topic earlier on. The exploratory report quickly helped me eliminate the topics that I had zero interest in researching. I have created an annotated bibliography for few classes in the past however, very few of them had structure and the information included was not beneficial for later assignments. The task of only stating the most important parts of the articles into the bibliography was easy to follow because I was able to stay on take without getting bored or confused. Although this particular assignment was not my favorite, I did not mind creating something that would help me later on down the line.
