One of the ways efficiency reduces stress is by encouraging uniformity. Mustang currently lacks uniformity among the administrative assistants in field services. There are three separate groups that each have a small group of assistants assigned to them. All three groups have the same daily tasks; however, each group has different methods of completing the tasks and they all have different levels of output. Creating more uniform administrative procedures would increase productivity and effectiveness, yet some managers are opposed to changing the procedures for the assistants in their group and will require more research before making changes. This research will provide managers with information on how creating a more uniform work place can enhance efficiency and be more effective with the use of the company resources. This research will discuss the following: the current issues the administrators have in their daily process, the benefits of having uniform procedures, and how uniformity will create a more effective and efficient work place.
A healthcare administrator, also called medical services manager, health services manager, or healthcare executive is responsible for running the business side of a medical facility. While a healthcare administrator will probably not work directly with patients, he or she does work to create a good experience for each patient, from "behind the scenes". Healthcare administration is a field that is often overlooked, but is essentially the beating heart of any healthcare organization. With more and more hospital, and clinics, and other healthcare organizations popping up everywhere there is a need for people like me to manage the day-to-day operations. I am currently looking for work as an Administrative Assistant with the goal of becoming a Business Administrator or General Manager in the future. I have been in the workforce for a couple of decades now and have had the opportunity to experience many different career paths.
