One reason that a utopian society is not possible is because of human nature. A place where there's no problems or conflicts is impossible because humans can sometimes be ignorant to realize their own mistakes and learn from them. In the article “Why Utopias Fail” in paragraph 13 it states” while many people believe that utopias are doomed to failure because of human nature, it’s much more useful to approach utopia as the ultimate governance challenge. If men were angels, no government would be necessary. This is important to my claim because humans cannot be perfect angels because everyone makes mistakes and we can learn from them. While it is great for humanity to be accepting on one another but cultural the world is very different. There would be too much conflict between what is wrong and what is right. There would be no cultural diversity or any diversity at all. People that were following a different religion will have to change their religion so everyone would be the same. Some people might have a disagreement with others or be not happy at all. In the article” Why Utopias Fail” it states that everyone can’t be kept in the fold” for religion. This means that at some point one person might change their religion and other might follow and suddenly there would be different religious aspects in one community.
