Topic: Conflict in Romeo and Juliet
Conflict is one of the most destructive things in on earth and in this essay I shall try to explain how, Romeo and Juliet demonstrate the destructive power of conflict upon Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet is a play about two feuding households over an ancient grudge which neither house can even recall, but they still fight and hate and make no peace in the streets of Verona. In this world is where Romeo and Juliet meet that is the world in which were all types of conflict unfold and no one in this play with a name is safe from its reach as you will see. In this essay I shall write about four main types of conflict that appear in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet Person vs Person, Person vs society, Person versus self and finally Person vs Fate.
Firstly Person vs Person, this type of

This conflict is everywhere and is evident as Juliet laments the cruelty of it, that her true love is also her family’s greatest enemy making her at war with herself the same with Romeo showing deeply conflicted states also on his side.
Lastly Person vs fate, this is demonstrated greatly by the quote of two star crossed lovers take their own life. which implies that their fates were sealed before being born and is exemplified by the multiple references of the cruelty of fate, such as in the cruelty of fate that it will pit two lovers in such different yet alike circumstances of adversity.
Therefore by the reasons I just stated, Romeo and Juliet demonstrate the different types of conflict what they are and how they affect the characters in the play. There are many other examples but I won’t use them all for that would take forever. So finally if it was not for conflict Romeo and Juliet would never have died and there never would have been the destruction which Romeo and Juliet were privy too.
The
Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, is a story of two young lovers. These two hearts, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet belong to feuding families. The family feud causes them to keep their love a secret and therefore only Romeo, Juliet, Benvolio, the Nurse and Friar Lawrence know of their love. Romeo and Juliet are able to look past the feud and let themselves fall in mad love with the other. They let themselves do almost anything for the other and at times it seems like too much to do, even for the one they love. Although fate and character traits play a key role in the play, ultimately Rome and Juliet’s personal choices lead to their downfall.Fate originates all of the conflicts in Romeo and Juliet, from when they met until they die.
Throughout the play Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare in the 16th century, there is consistent theme of conflict featured in terms of both mental, physical and emotional means. The way this dispute is embodied throughout the duration of the play alternates subject to subject to the character in question- but can be represented through many means.
Sometimes when people are amongst conflict, they act impetuously in certain situations. In the play Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare, careless actions take place by the characters when they are put into stressful and difficult situations. They are not thought through and result in consequences for more than just themselves. In Romeo and Juliet when in the midst of conflict, characters tend to think and act impulsively and not think of the reaction to their actions. They do not think of the consequences their actions may bring, or how they may affect others in the future.
...the intensity of the play, the very sweet and romantic scenes would have intrigued the audience and with the shock deaths at the end it would have saddened then because Shakespeare involved his audience and drew them in with his soft and subtle scenes to the heart wrenching scenes. When, after Romeo and Juliet die, the two families make friends. I would think the audience wouldn’t be surprised because in the prologue it said, “Doth with their death bury their parent’s strife.” This means that with Romeo and Juliet’s death it will end the family’s feud. In conclusion I would say that Shakespeare puts conflict in sense which represents both physical and verbal abuse. It is important to include both aspects because not every character is going to have either a constant physical or verbal fight. Romeo and Juliet without conflict are like Romeo and Juliet without love.
The play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is about a forbidden love between two hateful households which tragically ends in death. It begins with Romeo’s broken heart from a dainty lady and a lively masquerade where two lone souls come together. However, their love for one another was doomed at birth for both households had a constant hatred for one another. Infatuation, rage, and sadness contribute to an unhealthy relationship between Romeo and Juliet.

Set in the 16th century William Shakespeare’s play has many different themes running throughout it, which include love, hate, death and conflict. The play opens with a fight but ends with suicide that creates peace between both families who unite from their losses. The conflict, violence and aggression in the play happen from revenge and an ancient family grudge. An audience from the 16th century would have enjoyed Romeo and Juliet because of the real life drama and tragedy the play goes through. The patriarchal society gave women absolutely no rights and they had to obey their man’s ordering a patriarchal system. The theme of conflict is revealed as the characters argue over Juliet’s disobedience.
In the play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, many people lead to the outcome of Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. The play is about a boy, Romeo, and a girl, Juliet, from two rival families that fall in love. The two families, the Montagues and Capulets, have been fighting for a long time and it affects the entire city of Verona, where they live. It is debated whether or not the deaths of the star-crossed lovers could be blamed on numerous people. The tragedy of their deaths was the faults of multiple characters and could have been prevented.
The play "Romeo and Juliet", from William Shakespeare is a dramatic love story. The characters in this play have static and dynamic conflicts. Internal conflicts is a conflict where the person has trouble making a decision. External conflict is when a another person, society, or a situation gets in the way of the character. In this essay I will prove that Juliet is a dynamic character.
‘Romeo and Juliet’ by William Shakespeare incorporates the theme of conflict through many different characters and situations. The definition of conflict is “a fight, battle, or struggle; especially a prolonged struggle; strife” The play mainly focuses on the tragic lives of Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet; the two characters belong to the Montague and Capulet households respectively, which have held ongoing grudges against each other for years. The play ends with both main characters committing suicide, to be together in heaven. As with many of Shakespeare’s works, the theme of conflict is a strong one. For a start, there is the ongoing conflict between the two families; the Montagues and the Capulets. The audience is unsure how this grudge started; this reflects how tedious some ongoing grudges can be. This is a vital conflict to keep the structure of the story, as without this conflict Romeo and Juliet would not have encountered the problems they had with their marriage. However, there are different ways of putting this grudge across - through dialogue, such as Mercutio’s intell...

...lict breeds nothing but conflict and that it is their fault that two lovers have died, they realise that they have indirectly led to the death of one of their own family and that makes them see that, their feud is going to solve nothing, violence has led to tragedy and death but it has also led to resolve and the preservation of life, the death of Romeo and Juliet, a tragedy, but the resolution of the feud and the preservation of the Montagues and Capulets.
