Abstract
Ethics can be defined as the rules of conduct recognized in respect to a particular class of human actions or a particular group, culture, etc. Ethical codes are adopted by organizations to assist members in understanding the difference between 'right' and 'wrong' and in applying that understanding to their decisions. An ethical code generally implies documents at three levels: codes of business ethics, codes of conduct for employees, and codes of professional practice. This is why is import to update test norms from time to time. There is not a specific amount of time to update this norms but they have found that it should be no more than 10 years or in some cases no more than 7. Design of the test is the format and designed of the test attractive to test takers, relevant and appropriate for the purpose of the assessment and for the characteristics of the test taker in regard to age, developmental level, gender, and ethnicity. With this said, test providers need to find out if there are any practice items to help the test taker understand what is required of him and to help them deal with test anxiety. Also, if the test requires the presentation of materials, are these convenient for the test user to handle. Validity is also important. Test providers’ needs to know what evidence is provided in the test manual for the validity of the test for example, content, and construction. Also, is important to know if there is any evidence provided in the manual regarding the impact of possible practice effects arising from the test being re-administered and any recommended period which elapse before the test is
