The code of ethics for people in the field of education defines principles of behavior and the code of conduct .The code of conduct protects many things, for example; the health and safety of employees, as well as the children we are surrounded by.There are many definitions when it comes to ethics for the term educator. There are eight theories such as; psychodynamic, behaviorist, cognitive, sociocultural, ecological, multiple intelligence , maturation, and humanistic. Usually six-weeks children suffer from pre-attachment the desire need one has for others.Attaching shows a child's preference for familiar people, or one they tend to favor.Classic secure attachment shows separate anxiety in care givers presence.Children often seek attachment for comfort .Parents who grow up tend to have issues when it comes to them not have a secure attachment to their parents. Like Piaget, Erikson continued on the belief that children develop in a predetermined order. He studied how children socialize and in what manner their socialization affects their sense of self. Erikson’s Theory of Psychosocial Development has eight distinct stages, each with two possible outcomes. The theory states that successful completion of each stage results in a healthy personality and successful interactions with others. Failure to complete a stage can result in a reduced ability to complete further stages and therefore a more unhealthy personality and sense of self. These stages, however, can be resolved successfully at a later time. I wanted to test both Piaget and Erikson’s theory and see if I can identify them in children of six and seven years of age.

Ethics and morality are also necessary in our schools to create individuals who are compassionate towards one another and of the world surrounding them.

The goal of education is to develop the highest level of mental, moral and physical ability within students. Ethics are just as important as factual knowledge and physical well-being. Sadly, public schools in this country are against ethical expression of any kind. Ethics are a threat to the school system because they may encourage a need for change in the present standard of education, which is decidedly anti-ethical. In U.S. public schools, students are processed through a well-built machine designed to perpetuate the status quo. Any ethical conflict that a student might have is treated like a malfunction in need of repair.
