This is my about factors that can influence peoples learning and I will start by explaining the positive and negative influences of my childhood experience. I will then explain my present experience and finish this assignment with my future plans for my learning process. This assignment will also include theorists and how they influence peoples learning. It will also discuss how others can be helped to learn and how effective this can be.
During my childhood stages I was brought up in Luton, I believe that I have experienced a lot to make me the person I am today. Key factors can influence people in a negative or positive way.

This could affect their learning because they will fall behind on school work which may affect their future grades.
Another positive learning influence could be parents by them motivating and being supportive towards their children. If parents encourage children from a young age to read books and do activities instead of using computers for learning it could be a positive learning factor for the child. Although some children and teenagers believe their parents can be a distraction and get in the way of their learning, for example when the child is doing their homework and there mum says they have to go to a family members house they won’t be able to get homework or coursework completed.
Disability can also be an influence on some peoples learning because if somebody is physically disabled they might find it difficult whilst trying to get around certain buildings and some buildings may not have good access for wheelchairs which could make it hard. Secondly, if somebody has learning difficulties in a school or college and they don’t receive the right support that they are entitled to they may fall behind with work and struggle in class to understand what is …show more content…

KOLB come up with the way that adults learn which is called cognitive abilities, he said that in adolescence and early childhood people begin to develop instinctive preference to process information and they use this instinctive preference throughout their life to learn. Kolb identified two different pairs that work together to create factors that combine to create a cycle of four stages of how adults learn better.
