Bad Habits and Addictions by College Students Everyone in some point in his or her life forms a bad habit or addiction; it is just a part of human nature. Many people will agree on that fact. Some people cannot seem to stop their bad habits no matter what they do to try to prevent it. It is important to stop a bad habit because it is detrimental to one’s health. Research shows that most bad habits will somewhat negatively affect a person’s personal goals. College students, as for most are guilty of various bad habits, must learn how to reverse their bad habits if they want to be successful. Firstly, procrastination is the most common thing in college students. Due to college students procrastinating, the society view college students as lazy people. Procrastination becomes a major problem because it can affect the efficiency of an assignment. It is best for a student to start right away on an assignment rather than wait until the last minute it is due; therefore, the student will most likely get a higher grade on the assignment because their work was not rushed.
