A time management plan will allow us to schedule and complete our tasks according to the priority we set by focusing on the right priority task at the right time. Effective time management plans will help us work efficiently and effectively. Competent workers should monitor and adjust their own work performance to ensure the quality of their work is maintained. Time management helps us to use the right strategies and develop the skills that will improve the way we use our time.

Once you have a plan, stick to it, protect it. Start your day with a foolproof plan and you get to work and like one million other plans are staring down at you. Create a log of what you do consecutively daily for a week. Find out what takes the majority of your time and if they are in line with what you originally planned to do that week. Develop a new plan, or take time to focus more on those things that make your day more productive. Develop a daily appointment time with yourself to work on every project and complete them ahead of every deadline. Try to find ways to prepare as much of your daily schedule or tasks as you can in the morning, the night before.
