My essay is going to be the field dove and its habitat. there are many types of dove in the world i chose the field dove. I believe that dove are important to the the ecosystem because they kill the worms and they get repaid of the bad Fruits. There are more than 340 species of dove that are known in the world. The reason why I chose the field dove is because they are an interesting bird. The dove is both destructive and help full. The dove picks up and eats all the bad fruits and worms. The dove mainly eats plants or grains. They eat seeds and grains and weed. They like to eat with many other birds or flocks of birds.The dove is small and gets hunted by humans. Some people have pet dove and they make them adapt to eat meat. They also are good at hiding due to their coloration in there very good at hiding, due to that the birds dont see them or other animals. The dove is invasive to Asia, Europe, North America. The collared dove was introduced in the bahamas in the 1970’s. Then the birds spread to florida in 1982. They stretch from mexico all the way up to alaska then over to hawaii. Part of the mourning dove and the pigeon family they populated. They had different babies and made of weird species and mixes of birds. The dove flies about 320 miles a year to migrate around the world. The dove is in over 75 states. The eurasian dove is a native species. The dove does migrates in the united states and part of mexico. The dove does migrate south of the us then back to the north in fall time.It is a year round bird around in the us now it might move and fly north or south they still stay in the us and mexico. Not all the dove fly around the united states and mexico, they stay in some cities year round. The dove is more found in a warmer colder
