Please excuse that this response is overdue. I have been trying to collect the needed transfer application material from the appropriate Bard High School Early College (BHSEC) administrators.
After lengthy discussions with the Dean of Studies, Siska Brutsaert, she has adamantly concluded that I have not completed any college credits, after the fulfillment of high school requirements. Therefore, I am not eligible to apply to Cornell University, her alma mater, except as a 2018 freshman.
This is in despite of:
· The recognition of the successful fulfillment of the BHSEC high school and NYS Regent requirements with an official June 2015 speech by Julia Guerra, my then advisor, accepting the group I was a part of during my first two years

o The Bard Early College website states *“all high school requirements are fulfilled during the freshman and sophomore (high school) years”. o A screenshot of the specific requirements a Bard student must have completed at the end of 10th grade to qualify for the college academic credit portion is below.
· It is also contrary to the touting in presentations and school tours by both staff and students for the New York City competitive applicants of the completion of high school at the end of the 10th grade so the Associate degree are completed during the next two years.
I am afraid that there may be prejudice involved that is jeopardizing my applications.
According to my online checkoff list, the Bard Early College Administration has yet to send all of the required transfer application items, though submissions had an October schedule.
If possible, I would like a time extension for the lack of required transfer materials as attempts to get definitive answers from the NYC Board of Education have been so frustrating and slow. However, I have no means of knowing a BOE response
Families and students in grades 6 through 10 may choose to attend and admission is by lottery. Student population is about 300 and there is no cost to attend this alternative public school that operates under the same student budget allocation as other district schools.
I am Nursing major and with that degree to become a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the Cardiovascular System to reduce the rate of heart diease in America. I am a hardworking individual and I take my academics very seriously. I understand that I am at school for a purpose and know my purpose is to further my education. I am just trying to make it. My parents always told me growing up “ In order to get something you never had that I will have to do things I have never done.” No one prepared me for college, because I am a first generation college student. In addition to being a first generation college student ; I am also a first generation high school graduate. I use my my parents trials and tribulations as my motivation, because I want
Students are also granted a 90-day exception, which allows students to take the exam ninety days prior to receiving their degree. Moreover, under the overview section, it states the next exam will take place on October 15, 2016 (NCHEC, n.d.).

Literally. In order to be in college as a high school, you have to show that you are college level. The college will know whether you are (or aren’t..) by the Texas Success Initiative Test, or TSI. This is a three or four hour test so be prepared. If you have done all the paperwork, you should receive an email with your Campus Wide ID, or CWID. You will need this number to take the pre-TSI. The pre-TSI is only a couple questions, so don’t worry if you end up getting a 66%. The test isn’t taken into account, it is just for you to know where you are. There is also study guides and practice problems you can do. After this, you will need to go to the campus and take your test. The TSI has a small fee that you must pay in order to take the test. Once you pay (at the campus), go to the testing center and take your test. When you’re done you should get a printed version of your scores. Make sure to hold on to them just in case. There can be an error and the college not have any record of you taking the test, so that piece of paper may just save you (not a personal experience at all...). On the front it says the minimum scores and inside it says your scores. If your scores are equal to or higher than the minimum, congratulations, you are college ready! If not, no big

I would welcome the opportunity to expand upon my application either through a visit to the school and/or at interview.
Meanwhile, I would transfer to attend the University of Texas at Arlington. Once I start the school year, I am going to surround myself with young people, who are motivated, caring and determined, too successful in their academics as well as their personal lives. I want to strengthen my communication skills, study harder, and improve my time management skills. And maintain myself there to obtain my Bachelor Science Degree and can go deeper and higher level status in my career field. I choose to apply to this Honors Program, because I like to be challenged and I work hard for what I want to

As an educator working both in the high school and middle school setting, one point should be made clear. It is never too early to start thinking about a career. Of course, this is preached by most educators on a daily basis, but for the high school student looking for a college, it is still hard to comprehend. What exactly is the criterion for a college or community college and which direction should the high school senior go?

To even consider applying for college the first thing I need to do is take a test or 2. These 2 tests would be the SAT and ACT. For the ACT the one and only thing I have done so far is take an advanced English and math class. Because the ACT uses these classes for content, I will be better prepared for it. A few things I need to do for the ACT test are taking an advanced science class and to practice and study for tests. Whereas for the SAT I am currently taking taking honors (and above) math and English classes. Currently
School plays an important role in our lives. Many people will spend more than fifteen years at school in order to get the qualifications that are required to work in a specific field. Those years are broken down into several levels, some of them being more enjoyable than others. Two very important levels that people go through are high school and college. Even though some think that these levels are almost the same, there are significant differences between them. The cost of high school is not the same as the cost of college. Also, some differences apply from an academic point of view. Typically, the social environment also differs from high school to college, which can be related to the question of freedom versus responsibility.
