Although the decision of where to attend Graduate school may be difficult for some, this was one of the easiest decisions I have made about my future. The past four years at ECU have helped me grow into the person I am today and helped me decide to stay at ECU for the MSA program. The experiences I have encountered while in college have helped me reach my goals and I look forward to other experiences at ECU that will help me accomplish my short-term and long-term career goals. Likewise, the staff, the program structure, and the opportunities that the College of Business MSA program offers are a few of the reasons that I decided to continue my studies at ECU. In the past four years, I have enjoyed a rapport and comfort level with the College …show more content…
From the College of Business administrators, to the Accounting Department, to Student Affairs everyone has always been so helpful. I can’t imagine how my time and experiences would have differed if it weren’t for the amazing support and mentorship from the people with whom I have worked. From Financial Accounting all the way to Advanced, every professor that I have come in contact with has always been willing to help. Whether it was a personal emergency or just guidance on my upcoming interview process someone was always eager to lend a hand. Professors may not always receive the appreciation that they deserve for going the extra mile to help students. However, for me it is always in the back of my mind when I am speaking of them or reminded of their generosity. Their genuine care for students and their love for accounting definitely shows in their everyday interactions. I have been fortunate to have worked with professors who have been able to teach me the accounting material that I need for my future career, while teaching me the necessary skills to be professional and successful in my everyday life through mentorship and guidance. Thankfully, with their assistance I have been successful in my college career and hope to continue that success with these professor mentors during the MSA

An HBCU is a college/university that embeds the nature of power and black excellence; a place with surroundings that doesn’t force you, but makes you want to push yourself to become a better person inside and out, and throughout the community. Transferring would allow myself to be put in an atmosphere of continuous motivation and growth that I would feed off of my superiors and the people around me.
The main component I look for in college is their commitment to further my studies. I feel this college will provide an ingenious culture within the science field, therefore rendering myself with the building blocks necessary to later pursue the medical field. Not only does UNCW devote itself towards their student’s undergraduate years, but also by providing Professional pathways such as Pre-Medicine, students such as myself can go into Professional schools better prepared. In addition to my interest in the academics the school has to offer, I also marvel at the amount of extracurricular activities available to the student body. One student organization in particular is the Greek Life. When my mother attended this school, she was an avid member
I hope to leave NC State as a young adult who is ready and prepared to enter society with a determined mindset and hard work ethic. I believe that I will be perfectly capable of achieving my goals and and aspirations as an NC graduate, and will graduate with the experience to take on challenges that may await me in a future career. Although I am still unsure of my desired field of study, I am confident that I will be able to discover a career path I will enjoy through the Exploratory Studies college. I am excited to enroll as an undergraduate student at NC State, and look forward to the opportunities ahead of me in the college of Exploratory

Not only am I confident that Rutgers University will fully assist me in reaching my personal enrichment, but I have faith that it will help me to achieve my career goals as well. The real question is how would one not? A degree from Rutgers has a such a strong value. Not just that, but there is a lot of involved with the school and students.
So after graduation I decided to explore my options at the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh. Wow, was this a mistake? Through hard work and commitment I have become a well-rounded leader beyond my age. I set goals and take pride in achieving them. This is evident in my involvement in the lives of my friends, community, school, and church. I serve through volunteer service, community outreach, and school involvement. I have been an audio and light technician for 9 years mixing audio for various school concerts, musicals, dramas, and other performances. I have donated more than 1,000 hours of community service into local organizations in the treasure valley since I was in middle school. I am currently a part of the National Honor Society chapter at my high school. I want to inspire others to serve without wanting to be recognized. I put into my classes what
In conclusion, I was fortunate enough to understand many important things in life. One of those things is that we do not always begin at the desired start line, but through effort and strong will we can arrive at the desired finish line, where the outcome of our plans and goals reside. In my pursuit of education, I faced many challenges and hardships, but I always viewed them as temporary setbacks not as a finish line. I am certain that an opportunity to study at the UW would help me reach my finish line.
