1) The first step is to identify the issue. 2) The next step is to think of all the possible outcomes and routes to take swiftly so the issue doesn't get out of hand. 3) If you are at a point of not being able to come out and make a decision that you think will be 100% correct you can always ask higher staff for advice. They are there to help me along my journey as staff. 4) Apply the correct punishments to the perpetrator. 5) Get back to the reporter about the situation and thank them for their evidence and help in keeping the OPCraft community clean and a more suitable community for ALL age groups. I like to be unique and a dynamic person because if someone is feeling bad, I find a way to cheer them up and try to make them feel better and not worse. Being a colorful person really helps people get going and it motivates them. Sometimes being a dynamic person teaches people confidence, if I can show someone how to do something they’re not confident in, I can really teach someone a lot. Being a bright and kind person makes a great role model for other people, especially the younger ones playing on OPCraft. I also view myself as a very trustworthy person which would never put someone or myself in a bad spot. Being trustworthy is important to me because I want to be able to build a strong relationship between players and staff and myself so that I know that we can talk to each other anytime we need to. Dynamic and trustworthy ties together in my opinion because I can have a fun and bubbly side but also a responsible side that people can depend on. When we think together as a group we can create viewpoints and perspectives we wouldn’t be able to achieve if we were all working solo and as individuals. Learning as a group is often much more different than learning as an individual. What you’ve learned as a group is entirely different from if you were learning alone because you are able to think of things from different perspectives of other members. Teamwork also creates a table of shared information and skills that you can use later on during individual projects and team projects. Building trust and cooperation> Cooperation is really important to me because if there is something that is going on and we need someone to be able to cooperate with us, we can find a way to get around the problem. Building trust opens new doors to paths that we would never find if we gave up on trying to build trust and help others. In a staff team, trust and cooperation are important because if we need to work together to get something done but we refuse to work together or build trust, we won’t be able to get around the problem. I work great with people I’ve just met and people I’ve known for a while. I am always willing to compromise or for all of us come to a consensus. If I will be unavailable for contact or unable to come on for a long period of time, I will tell the staff team in advance. I am also able to work well individually and as well as a team
In order to address the above components, five decision making steps have to be put in place, these are; being attentive, being intelligent, being reasonable, being responsible, and being reflective. The first step, being attentive, involves evaluating the whole situation and coming up with the data and information about the problem at hand. In so doing the following questions are viewed; what facts to bear in mind, what direction to take so as to get the expected solution, and what is the main issue to work on. In the second step, being intelligent, the information is clearly studied to determine whether the collected data is revealing the correct details concerning the problem. Determine the stakeholde...
By working together there is information sharing, improve safety and quality also collaboration gives knowledge to other professionals. (Littlechild and Smith, 2013).what I have learned through working in partnership with other professionals was creating a poster related to what each professional does. Some of the professionals I did not know how exactly they work together in partnership. Example: I was not aware of how a radiology would work with a social work and the outcome of that was that Radiology develop and maintain collaborative relationship with medical colleagues and participates in regular meetings with other professionals activities to meet the needs of a service users therefore they collaborate with Social Workers. By doing a poster and delivering information I learned a lot from the other team members, shared experiences knowledge and skills with other group members. Group work made me realise how it is very important to work in multi-displinary team, the benefit of it and what others can benefit from. During the poster each of the student was from different professional however we all had the question but each had to look at it in each profession perspectives. This gave an opportunity to everyone to go and search for each professional and communicate with the rest of the group the outcome of the presentation. By doing that, we exchanged ideas learned from each other’s skills and used it into practice. I have learned about sharing information with others, learned about communication and
Normally in a group, the work will be divided into the number of members in the group and may be arranged to each of the members to receive the part where they are more confident and have more knowledge of it. In addition, if a member is confused with their work, he can receive assistance from his teammates rather than just being alone and figure it himself independently. However, I believe sometimes been in a group can have its cons. A common pitfall associated with working as a group is disagreement about the way something is being done, a particular issue, or an opinion. Sometimes one member might have his own beliefs and want to perform a task in their way and conflict can arise from this. Once conflict arises, the members can discuss their own opinions and might arrive to a solution, but this can cause a member to not show their full potential because something was not done the way they wanted. I believe this is very common but if you are open minded, it can be overcome for the sake of the team to be
Imagine watching a vigorous baseball or hockey game, you watch your favorite team struggle to make a goal but your least favorite team keeps scoring. As you keep watching, you start to get aggravated and don’t know what is happening to make them not score. As you are watching you realize they are all over the place and not working together as a team. All of a sudden, your favorite team starts to work together and makes a huge comeback. One may ask why they are not scoring as well as the other team? This is just one element which can be greatly affected by teamwork. Everything in society can and will be affected by teamwork and helping others. Working together makes a enormous difference in each and every one's life in society.
To start my answer related to trust, I would like to start with few quotes that shows the power of trust like, “without trust we don’t truly collaborate, we merely coordinate or at bets cooperate. It is trust that transforms a group of people into a team “- Stephen M.R Covey
In order for a work place to be successful and beneficial to everyone involve in the company, teams needs to be form, and each team must have a goal in mind. Employees must come together to accomplish a common goal. Teamwork will not only benefit those involve in the project but it will also have a huge impact in your business.
Why do we form teams? The goal of a team is to be able to do something together that could not be done alone. In this big, international, world of business and life we do, in fact, need teams. We need to work together to do all that we truly cannot do alone. Yet, knowing that we need teams is only the first step of many. Everyone has some experience being on a team, but few of us are experts who have done extensive research. A byproduct of this is that there are many common myths that abound about teams. These include misconceptions related to varied topics such as: what makes a team, how to run a team effectively, general attitudes about teamwork, its (teamwork’s) value to business and even its very nature.
I work well in group situations. I always try to encourage all members to participate and contribute. It is interesting to note that in most situations, I tend to be one of the group leaders. I do have a strong personality. Yet I try not to come across as controlling or bossy.
Building self-esteem, enhancing student satisfaction with the learning experience, and promoting a positive attitude toward the subject matter are all benefits of collaborative learning. A higher degree of accomplishment takes place as a group because you essentially are a team. An example of this is a sports team. In a collaborative situation it takes every member to do his or her part in order for a situation to have a greater resolution; as where a sports team needs everybody’s individual talent to win a game. In retrospect, as a group; the contributions of our own talents can make the difference between a “win or Lose situation” it gives you a sense of competition, and knowing that you can win as a group; self esteem in one’s self is accentuated. Johnson and Johnson (1989), Slavin (1967). Another benefit to collaborative learning is based on the members of your group. Every individual in the group demonstrates their own input based on where they were born, what nationality they are so on and so on. The benefit of this is that you get a different perspective on things rather than always knowing what you know. You can take information from other cultures and add or apply it to what you already know.
I am a competent communicator, being able to effectively connect with people of all ages. I exhibit a genuine interest in people and their ideas, and occupy a sense of compassion and care towards those I meet. I am an excellent listener, and I take the time to understand others and their needs. I work well within a team environment, however, I am also able to work dexterously as an individual. I know how to clearly define a role as part of a team, and I am capable of applying teamwork to a range of situations, whether it be in day-to-day life, or in the workplace.
The team members not only share expectations for accomplishing group tasks, but trust and support one another and respect one another's individual differences. Your role as a team builder is to lead your team toward cohesiveness and productivity. A team takes on a life of its own and you have to regularly nurture and maintain it, just as you do for individual employees. Teambuilding is important for several reasons. It facilitates better communication and it motivates employees. The more comfortable your employees are to express their ideas and opinions, the more confident they will become. This will motivate them to take on new challenges. Team building also promotes creativity and develops problem solving skills. It also breaks the barrier because team building increases the trust factor with your employees. The first rule of team building is an obvious one: to lead a team effectively, you must first establish your leadership with each team member. Communication should be clear and manager should describe team values and goal. Trust and cooperation is also important when building effective team. Opinions of all group members are important and all of them are equal. One of most important thing is encourage listening and
Working in teams provides an opportunity for individuals to come together and establish a rapport towards others within a group. Teamwork is classified as people with different strengths and skills who work together to achieve a common goal. When a team works well, specific objectives are fulfilled and satisfied. Teamwork plays a crucial role in implementing and fulfilling a common goal in a team project. Each member plays a role and takes on different responsibilities combined together. In different stages of teamwork, conflicts and arguments may occur for as members have different standpoints which need to be harmonized within the team. The key to having an effective teamwork is to explore each member's unique abilities to motivate them.
The benefits of teamwork stem largely from the facts that there are several people on a team that interact a great deal. Therefore, a team is often able to generate a wider range of innovative ideas than an equal number of individuals working alone (Landry & Erwin, 2015). Team members can also discuss these ideas among themselves, which allows them to improve and build on initial thoughts, bringing about more innovation than individuals do. In addition, various team members will bring different skill sets and personalities to the team, allowing a team to be diverse and versatile.
Teamwork is key in many situations in a workplace. Without it, many tasks could not get done and efficiency would go way down. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you are working with a huge group of people, teamwork could be between two people. Without cooperation, however, no two or more people could get anything done, or would at least do it very poorly. When you are part of a workplace that consists of more than yourself you are inevitably going to work with others. Even the CEO of a company has to meet and work with others from time to time. So teamwork is a vital part of your ethicality in a work environment and should be readily available to you at a moment 's notice. Without it, you are surely not going to get along well with others or have a very happy career.
In order for teamwork to be successful in the workplace it involves building a relationship and working with other people. The ability to work as part of a team is one of the most important skills in today’s job market. Working cooperatively and contributing to groups with ideas, and suggestions benefits everyone. A key to team effectiveness
