Donald Trump once said “I will build a great big wall on our Southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for it.” Most people see it racists because he is the one that wants to have it built, but he is making Mexico pay for it. It is pretty messed up for him to do that.Donald Trump dose say some hateful things about all mexicans just because they are coming into the U.S without papers, all they are coming for is a job to help keep for on the table and a roof over their heads. I Understand you needing papers but Donald Trump needs to realize a lot of these people have kids that they want good for. Donald Trump is pretty racists, not only to mexicans but also to the blacks, only because they are black he thinks automatically that they are “thugs”,
Formally, an immigrant can be defined as “a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country.” But in some cases, there has been people like Cesar Chavez who have made a difference in history as an immigrant. Unfortunately, there are those who are not as lucky as Cesar Chavez and end up getting deported just like what happened in Operation Wetback in 1942. Now, they have made a way for immigrants to become U.S. citizens by taking the citizenship test. However, Donald Trump is one of the many people attempting to keep immigrants as far away from the U.S. Border laws are also another one of the many reasons why not many immigrants get the chance to enter this country because in many ways the laws that surround the border are in some ways unfair and not really the best. Immigration still remains a problem in our country
Across the nation, millions of Americans of all races turn on the television or open a newspaper and are bombarded with images of well dressed, articulate, attractive black people advertising different products and representing respected companies. The population of black professionals in all arenas of work has risen to the point where seeing a black physician, attorney, or a college professor are becoming more a common sight. More and more black people are holding positions of respect and authority throughout America today, such as Barack Obama, Colin Powell, Condelezza Rice and many other prominent black executives. As a result of their apparent success, these black people are seen as role models for many Americans, despite their race. However, these groups of black people are exceptions to the rule and consist of only a tiny fraction of all black Americans. These black people in turn actually help to reinforce the inequality of black Americans by allowing Americans of other races to focus on their success. A common thought is, "They made it, why can't you do the same?" The direct and truthful answer to that question is Racism.
One of the most important aspects of a presidential nominee is the candidate political ideology, and how that candidate transforms their ideology into vision with specific agenda that they can convince voters of. When we look at Donald Trump’s official campaign site we see seven position or stances on an issues that trump has chosen to center his campaign around was one of the main issues Trump addressed in every stump speech he gave during the primary. The first one listed is a step by step process in which he will build a giant wall between the border of the United States, and Mexico will pay for this far. Trump feels so confidently that this will happen he has even mapped it out day by day after he takes office of presidency stating, “On day 2 Mexico will immediately protest. They receive approximately $24 billion a year in remittances from Mexican nationals working in the United States. The majority of that amount comes from illegal aliens. It serves as de facto welfare for poor families in Mexico. There is no significant social safety net provided by the state in Mexico. On day 3 tell Mexico that if the Mexican government will contribute the
“The beauty of me is that I am very rich” according to Donald Trump. His ignorance has lead him to do things that he shouldn’t being doing or has done. In the past few months he has been racist man that would insult people that are from a different race. When Trump started running for president he would insult and bully everybody in general not knowing the people’s stories. He made people seem like they are poor and have nothing to live for, Trump’s inability to see past his greed. He wants to separate the United States and wants people to think he is the best of the best; Trump should not be President.
Immigration is an immeasurable problem here in the U.S., Trumps outlook for this issue states “They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists,” Trump said of undocumented Mexican immigrants while announcing his candidacy last June. Building the border stronger end immigrants and refugees who don’t through rigorous vettings.
“…Everybody jumped on him, and beat him senseless… Everybody was hitting him or kicking him. One guy was kicking at his spine. Another guy was hitting him on the side of his face… he was unconscious. He was bleeding. Everybody had blood on their forearms. We ran back up the hill laughing… He should have died… He lost so much blood he turned white. He got what he deserved…” (Ridgeway 167). The skinheads who were beating this man up had no reason to do so except for the fact that he was Mexican. Racism in this day and age is still as big of a problem as it was in the past, and as long as hate groups are still around to promote violence, society is never going to grow to love one another.
The world has been shaped to make European domination with racial contract. Racial contract is a set of formal or informal agreements between one subset of humans also known as a contract between whites. The purpose of the racial contract is a privileging of the whites as a group with respect to non whites as a group because they white supremacy. The agreement mostly concerns the third parties which are blacks. Yes I believe that what has happened with america electing trump can be explained in terms of racial contract.
While browsing through articles on the internet, I came across many related to the topic of racism. I am beginning to feel as if I am surrounded by stories of racism. From the KKK’s aggressive campaign against immigrants, to the police violence against black people in cites throughout our nation, racism and discrimination continue to be problems. One story stood out to me and continues to make me uncomfortable. Malachi Wilson, a five year-old boy, could not attend his first day of kindergarten in Seminole, Texas. What could he have done to warrant the principal’s rejection? His hair was simply too long.
On November 12, 2015 Donald Trump gave a speech in Fort Dodge at a community college. In this speech he talks about borders in the United States and how we have such relaxed borders compared to any other country, where you get fined a lot of money, prison time or even killed for crossing their borders illegally. While, in America you get a job, healthcare, and education, Trump believes that 's why we are in debt. Illegal immigrants, also can have babies in America and they automatically become legal citizens and Donald Trump call them "anchor babies".
Right now, Donald Trump, who is running to be the president of the U.S., believes that a wall should be built across the Southern border, and the U.S. should send children and their families back to their homeland. Donald Trump has clearly not thought about how this can have a significant impact on our country economically, and how it can affect families and communities. Everyone should be treated equally and not be differentiated because of their status. Undocumented immigrants want a better life for them and their families; why can’t they just receive the U.S. citizenship opportunity?
Racist please I think a lot people just love throwing that word around, Donald Trump is far from a racist. This kills me too people are now saying that picture that he posted of his wife and Cruz’s wife had to do with looks, my best friend who is a physiatrist says that picture had nothing to do with looks Trump was talking about her persona, I mean she does look angry in that picture. I am Voting for Donald Trump because I believe he will bring jobs back and fix our economy, I also believe that he will fight for our country and get those terrorists. One more thing Donald Trump gets attack and fights back and he gets condemned for it. I was bullied as a child for a long time coming home with blood and bruises on me, my mother would fight like hell with the school with no progress, so she decided to send me to karate school to get encouragement and once I did fight back those bullies stopped. He is strong willed and that is what we need for this country. I for one will be going to Cleveland to that convention, for years I have donated to the RNC only to hear that they are planning a open convention and all about the delegates, I don’t give a hoot about delegates the American is who should count. I am getting sick and tired of
There are people that don’t like immigrants and some that just don’t care about it. Also when it comes to choosing a president people want to hear everything they have planned for the US, but many also want to hear about what they have to say about the immigration problems. Today candidate Donald Trump, has a strong argument on immigration problems. Going more against Mexico Trump says, that Mexico should pay to make a better wall for the border and that he wants to deport all illegal immigrant from Mexico back to Mexico. He also says that it is Mexico’s fault they are in the situation they are in and that is why many are coming to the US. Mexicans and Latinos make up a huge part of the US and many of these people started to dislike him. Things like these make a huge impact act because if this was to happen many things would change. Yet many of these immigrants don 't have the right to vote, so they don 't have a chance to decide things like our next president. Besides this many just don’t like it because many of these immigrants are a cost to the US and that they are taking away jobs. This has been an issue since employment rates have gone
By the end of the Mexican American war of 1848, the United States was able to gain possession of Mexican territory. Many whom were living in the new seized land of the U.S. were offered legal citizenship as an agreement to ending the war. However granted legal citizenship for the Mexican Americans would not mean that they gained equal treatment. The problem with the racial caste system was that Mexican American was mixed with Spanish and Indian ancestry and did not fit with the white and black racial categories. They were in fact to be considered white by law but their status, as citizens did not stop the unequal treatment. In the film “A Class Apart” and Juan Gonzalez’s Chapter five depicts the struggles that Mexican Americans had faced with discrimination.
Trump caused all of this, he is to blame. Reporters of these cases came to conclusions; "It became so clear — at least in many people's minds — that the Trump presidency represented a kind of white nationalism, and we saw people who have white nationalist ideas or tendencies just go crazy," (Jaeger). It is clear that since the number of hate crimes went up directly after the election, that it was caused by Trump winning. Since Trump made the idea of a “white nationalism” (Jaeger), than in return, people against that or for it, will want to expose as much of their opinion as possible. Trump is an unqualified candidate, who encourages the disgraceful behavior of his followers. He caused a lot of commotion within the U.S, and in some cases it
Besides, you are wrong most Mexicans do pay taxes, but the only difference between immigrants and citizens is that Mexicans don’t get their taxes back and citizens do. Some Mexicans applies for a pin number which helps them to find jobs, but they get taxes taken away just like any citizen does. But the only difference is that they don’t get to get their taxes back because they don’t have the right for that. The government is the one that keep the taxes for the use of the country; Mexicans do pay taxes when they pay for groceries just like anyone else does. Donald trump you are so wrong us the Mexicans don’t come to the United States to live for free because we pay for every little thing we buy or get. We don’t get food stamps like citizens
